Fun, I just adopted an old Dodge county truck. But I think it would probably not appreciate a visit to its old home based on the hack job repairs I have taken out of it!

Years were not kind to my truck either. It took 5 trucks to restore it!

Hi Josh. I’m just starting a resto/mod on a 78 W150. Struggling with deciding on what lift to get. Either a 2” or a 4” like your truck. I may run 33x10.50’s. A snow plow too. How do you feel about the 4” lift you put on. Is the plow going to run okay?

The 4 inch lift is good for the 33 inch tires. Anything higher that that you end up with driveline angle problems, front end caster issues and other things. I wouldn't waste time with a 2 inch suspension lift, if you're going to do it just do the 4. As far as the plow, I actually haven't put the plow back together yet, but I don't anticipate any issues.

@@QuickSpeedShop Thanks for the advice! BTW I like the “Patina” restoration on your project. It’s not meant to be perfect. She’s a daily driver not a museum piece….

I would have had to thrown the whole truck away and started over for a museum resto lol
