The worm trail was so cute and informative. Glad you went that way. I always liked to see green among the "rusty" trees. Another good one.❤❤❤❤

The worm trail was neat, found info for beech tree trail @the pa dcnr/ state parks Beech Trail is named for the a gigantic beech tree that once grew on the ridgetop that the Nolde Family enjoyed visiting. The tree has long since fallen ad rotted--returning vital nutrients back into the soil.

There may not be any Beech trees but this is probably my favorite hike of yours! No people, no roads, late autumn/early winter. Very informative. Loved this!!!❤

Hi Cliff. So Cute! Just found this video. I am watching it with my 11 yr. old niece who has a snow day home from school today. We laughed thru the worm story. She thought it was really funny how many babies worms have. Fun little outdoor nature segment for her. Thank you much for sharing the worm story us!

Thanks for the great video. I'm a librarian, I think you found a storywalk. They are so fun! Our library was able to put permanent posts at the park. Kids love them.

Nolde Forest has so many interconnecting trails. It so nice when they have the trails marked. I enjoyed the little worm story walk!

Hey, this is my local park and I hike there so much, I barely need a map anymore. Though it's a smaller park, it has a lot of trails so you can switch things up if you get bored of a specific loop. BTW: "FG3" stands for "Fire Gate 3" which is that gate you passed right before the story walk.

Great hike! I remember biology class in 1971. My lab partner David Miller was squeamish. He could never dissect anything. I had to do it every time lol. But you know, I lived on a dairy farm. That stuff didn't bother me. Only thing bothered me was the formaldehyde. I must be allergic to it becoz my eyes were always irritated as it was my last class of the day, I'd get home and mom would ask me if I'd been crying. She talked to Mr. Jenkins about it but, teacher never did anything to remedy my issue.

Hello cliff even you messed up a little bit it's still became an interesting Trail and the story about the worms was a whole lot better than the fold up letter hanging in the trees take care love from upstate New York❤😊

that's a real nice trail, the worm trail was interesting, I think I learned something myself ...low. Enjoyed this video along with the many others you've done in the past, I'm still trying to catch up on all of them.

I hope you get to use your "cleats" this winter. I'm drinking a cup of coffee right now for you...hehehe I love those signs, learning about worms...much I did not know about them. Is this park part of the AT? I thought I saw a shelter by the junction with the boulevard trail.

Love the hikes, feel like I'm walking them too! I noticed several trees that looked dead or dying. Is there some kind of blight going on? Just curious. There's a blight in my area of middle TN.
