I can see it now "Working Out with Francis" its the perfect way to get your workout in and still stream or make videos. I have seen workout videos on Twitch before. You could also do like a weekly workout Francis montage. You actually work out but cut in some Francis "Having fun" working out. Set to Eye of the Tiger of course. What ever you decide to do I am rooting for you my friend.

I've been watching your rambling videos for a while but have never commented. I'm currently working on my masters thesis and as I'm nearing the end I've been dealing with some pretty rough bouts of anxiety and depression. Watching your videos reminds me that despite the stress and self-doubt we all face daily, we're all in this together and no matter what personal problems you might have, learning to love, forgive, and accept yourself are among the most important things you can do. Thank you for taking me out of my own negative headspace for a while, I wish you all the best on your journey to a healthier life - both mentally and physically.

Work Boogie, I am an actor and stuntman. I work on average 12-14 hours a day. When I am busy, I am really busy! Haha But when I am not busy, it's dead. Both myself and my fiancée are working and just found out today that she may be pregnant! Huge news! I'm very excited but she is worried as I believe most women are the first time. I watch every single video you put up because you are my inspiration to keep going and stay positive. You are a beautiful person and I love just sitting down and watching whatever you have to offer. I am truly excited to hear the good news leading up to the surgery. I consider you a friend and fellow filmmaker and I hope to god that one day I could meet you and possibly collaborate on something! I am starting up a production company with a friend of mine who worked on my first ever film with me, "Ping Pong Summer". We have 8-9 scripts and would absolutely love to have you in a few of them! I have been through so much and how you feel and react to things really hits me. I suffer from severe depression and BPD (borderline personality disorder). All results of how deep I get into character. Sometimes the character is so strong I lose myself. But, anyway, I love the videos, I love seeing your view on things, I love you as a creator and actor, keep it up and I am here watching and hoping for the best!

On your quick mention of Hawaii, and assuming you've never been there, I've got a couple suggestions: 1. every inch of hawaii is beautiful, but stay away from maui, cause you can barely see the island underneath the shopping malls and golf courses. 2. ohau/honolulu is great but it is very touristy and sometimes lacks the authentic hawaiian feeling, plus traffic can get ridiculous on the highway which is shocking lol. 3. The big island is the real legit unadulterated hawaiian experience IMHO, plus it has the green sand beach and black sand beach which are amazing. The green beach requires 4-wheel drive which you can hire for like $10 or so, but its a bit of a steep walk down from where you park. It's not horrible, but it'll get you huffing quick. Whatever island you pick, keep in mind you can island-hop to see the other islands fairly cheaply and quickly. Some of the shorter trips are like $50-$60/ticket. Just remember to skip golf island.

I do a lot of different things to make money. I work at my brothers farm. I started flipping phones. Starting an import/export business. Plus, I'm breeding Savannah cats. Also, within the next year I'm going to be buying a house and eventually going to get into real estate and renting out rooms and houses. I'm in my young 20s and plan to be completely financially stable with my businesses just doing the work themselves within the next year but as soon as the end of the summer and being able to retire by the time I'm in my early-mid 30s. Once that happens the world is mine I'd be able to do and go where ever I want and buy whatever I want without feeling guilty that I spent money. Coming from a gang background and living completely off of welfare for my entire life, living at the bottom it feels good to finally be making big steps towards a stable life without having to worry whether or not I'll have rent next month or enough money to eat.
@happymaskedguy19437 жыл бұрын
Demon Gaming A lesson you will learn is that money will come if you want it enough. In the mean time, chill out and enjoy your life. Life experience will dictate your future endeavours. Don't mean to sound rude, but nobody actually cares about how rich or successful you plan to be. It's nothing personal. You'll figure it out in a few years. Remember- confidence is quiet.
@mymetallicarulez7 жыл бұрын
I'm working hard now so I don't have to work hard for my entire life. Working hard now for a few years will be worth it so I can enjoy life and do what I want and be able to provide for my family without having any issues. I made my first comment because Boogie asked us to tell him how busy we are with working.
@happymaskedguy19437 жыл бұрын
Demon Gaming Ah rite, my bad. I had a very similar mindset to you once. What I found was that overworking does not translate into disposable income. It's weird, but true. Making money takes time. There's a whole lot to learn. Trust me- take your time, and try to follow the current of your progress. Rushing it or swimming against it just leads to frustration and failure. Beware anyone who tells you that you can make money in a short amount of time. Take my advice or not, but I would stop trying to chase an idea that you will be able to retire by the time you are thirty. Not to sound negative, but that would be beyond difficult. Rather, try to focus on steadily building your financial portfolio, one small project at a time. A single project should take at least 5 years of all of your attention. 100%. Once that is successful, you may or may not want to take up another project. Ignore all that rapper motivation crap about being rich and young. It takes a slow plan, with lots of effort, and over the course of years to become genuinely rich and successful. Trust me. Cut the idea of retiring at 30. Focus on one project you can put your whole heart and soul into, and focus on it 100%. You will save yourself a lot of wasted time and frustration. Don't buy stock, don't buy what others come to you to sell. Sell what you don't have yet. You'll be rich by the time you are 50. Maybe.
@happymaskedguy19437 жыл бұрын
Demon Gaming Oh, and avoid pyramid schemes. You should never have to pay a penny for anything you are selling.
@mymetallicarulez7 жыл бұрын
Well I completely understand where you are coming from and you are right if you are starting out without any help from someone who is already successful and knows what works and what doesn't when it comes to making money it takes a very long time to be successful. My brother started with just 1 phone and he flipped the phone and kept investing it back into the business and now he is completely set for life owns his own house on a farm with constant money every month coming in that will continue for the rest of his life. Since he is helping me and already has the knowledge about how to do all this it will makes things a whole lot quicker for me to get up to where he is if I just continue with what I plan on doing and what I'm currently starting to do. My brother is only 25 and he started with the phone when he was 19. Took him 6 years to get where he is now. If I continue taking his advice and do my own research it should take me the fraction of the time to be just has successful as he is. I don't listen to rap music can't stand it. Certain projects will take a while to do you are right but there is ways now that I could invest me money that will help me get there a lot faster. That Import/Export business I mentioned that will all be done without me ever touching the product but I would be making triple or quadruple my investment in that and the nice thing is you don't need a lot of money to start doing this. I have learned about this from my brother and I'm going to be doing a lot of research on this business to make sure I am guaranteed to make profits quick. I can't get into specific details but I have seen it work and it is full proof.

the previous Francis video was amazing, just because fuck and god dammit isn't shoved into the video francis' comedic ability stretches beyond just breakouts and swearing sprees, Francis can also use cringe and embarrassment combined with funny mistakes or misinterpretations to make great comedy. The rest of my day is just chilling with youtube, netflix, and anime, or playing games on my PC, while thinking about the exercise I should be doing. I sit on my ass at home, I sit on my ass driving to/from work, and I sit on my ass at work. I generally work hard programming UIs or back-end stuff, but I have to be in the mood. Early in the work day I am probably more easily distracted but then once I get really focused I don't even want to leave until I'm done and thus end up frequently staying late.

Hi guys. Please like this up so Boogie can read it. Don't want this getting lost in the sea of comments. Hey Boogie. I fall into the group that watch both you and the Francis stuff. Some feedback if you're interested. I like the current Francis content because you are parodying the current KZbin climate. Does it make me laugh as much as the older stuff? Honestly no, but this is an important part of your journey with Francis. I like the softer side and I'm interested to see this story arc. With your surgery it's unrealistic for your fans to think you'll be exactly the same. I actually think you'll attract more subscribers. An example of something I'm tracking lately is the weightloss journey of a KZbinr named Jirard (That One Video Gamer) - it's inspirational and I appreciate his transparency and willingness to put himself out there. I think a lot of people will respond similarly to your journey. I think you're a really brave and strong person and many of your fans will understand if you can't post as much during your surgery recovery. Focus on your health above anything else. Nobody can enjoy your content if you're dead Boogie. And goodness, get to that Honeymoon! Best of luck. I'm excited and happy for you too x

Hey Boogie! Love your videos, all of them that I see. The Francis ark is funny I enjoy it allot! For work I do 40 a week in an air bag assembly facility to pay the bills and up till recently I was doing three KZbin videos a week but have cut back to two, though that's the opposite of what I want to do, because my life is just out of order and it has to come first as hard as that can be lol. Please keep up the great work and take some time to relax DAMMIT! LOL

1-Keep Francis, it's how I first learned of you and I still watch him/ those videos, even bringing up the old ones from time to time just for laughs. 2-My 'big boy job' is an electronic engineer and design stuff for cars, typical 40-ish (sometimes more because meetings with people over seas) hour work week. Majority of my youtube 'work' is based around either Roller derby (I post practice and game footage from a helmet cam, though most teams want to keep that private), cooking (just because I like cooking) and gaming (just because it's fun). Compared to big youtubers, I spend very little time on these videos, there is editing involved in all of it, and a typical derby game takes hours to upload, that isn't *active* work for me, if anything it's just time I can't be playing online games without lag, haha. If it wasn't for derby, gym, and family time, I'd be probably be doing a lot more here.

wassup boogie. i work 24/7 , i work from home and i'm a stay at home dad. which means i don't get much sleep. i'm a machinist by trade and i also do cad/cam work. i got to have the pleasure of designing some vaping products for some local companies. very much enjoyed working with them and even made a lot of friends because of it. with current FDA regs i'm not able to design anything new for them but i am hoping things will change and i'll get the opportunity to do some more. it feels really good to know i helped in getting people to stop smoking. currently looking for other projects to take on. was even debating starting a youtube channel myself just to have something to do, maybe have some fun with it like you.

I'm currently at work right now. I work full time at Ford, driving parts in and out of a room. It is the most boring job I've ever had, and plan on making a chance soon. I never realized an easy job could be so soul sucking. I can wait to see the content you make once you're more physically able. I really want to see a Boogie Travel vlog, and even an exercise vlog when you're back to work. But most importantly, take time for yourself. We love you and your content, and you've got to be healthy for us to enjoy it, and you need to take time to relax for you to be healthy, or you'll work yourself to death, even once you're physically able. Besides, relaxing gives you time to come up with awesome video ideas, and I can't wait to see what you come up with.

I work for a chemical company called Camco. I drive a forklift for them Monday thru Friday and pull the packing for the orders. We run things like laundry soap, dish soap, all purpose cleaners, oven and grill cleaners. Things of that nature. Everyone kinda thinks I have it easy because I'm on a forklift all day, but no one seems to get how hard I actually work. I have several deadlines I have to meet every day. Deadlines that need to be met between putting extra packaging away from finished orders, keeping the lines stocked, keeping the lines running, searching through 2 huge warehouses for the items I need to finish orders, correcting inventory mistakes, correcting finished good mistakes. There is a lot that I do every day. Here's what I believe about you though my friend. You need to do what is best for you. I don't know about anyone else and can only speak for myself, but regardless of whether or not you take a break I will still be here when you return. you getting and being healthy is what matters. Your recovery matters. I've seen people go through this surgery and the recovery is not pretty and it isn't easy. So whatever you decide to do, make sure you put yourself and your health first. Your true fans will be here when you get well and return. I'm pretty confident that everyone just wants you to be happy and healthy. You can always make money in one way or another. You can have several jobs. But you only get one life. And I feel like yours will end up being a long and happy one. Thanks for the update. Till next you post a video.

Life is too short. We humans are not meant to spend so much time wasting our lives working away, not enjoying all that life has to offer. If we were creatures that exist for thousands of years, it might be different. But we are so fragile, that our existence can be determined in a matter of seconds, getting hit by a drunk driver, having a stroke, a heart attack, getting struck by lightning? There are millions of ways each one of us can cease to exist, we are but a fleeting memory in the cosmic story that is taking place around us. We are only ever meant to exist a short amount of time after which we are gone forever. Time is long, but life is short. Live, Love, and Be Happy, there are no do-overs, you only have one life, so make it a good one.

It would be unwise to wager happiness presuming that which you cannot know. I myself do not believe in an afterlife, but I do not condemn others that do. I only say that live your life as if there is only one. If you find yourself in the afterlife, you may be pleasantly surprised, for you will have disproven the idiom that one cannot both have his cake and eat it.

I know that it is going to eventually become something I don't look forward to, but after two years of not having a job I'm very happy to be getting out of the house and being more productive and finally getting money to do stuff and buy the things that I want. I'm glad that you're excited and realize what you're going to go through will be tough, but in the end it'll all work out for the better if you keep with it. I wouldn't mind a skinny Francis, because I'd know that Boogie is living a much better life.

I'm a mum to a 3-year old boy who is awake from 6am til 8pm and he takes up a lot of my time. I'm trying really hard to teach him how to be a good kind person, and other things he needs to know. Currently doing toilet training which takes a fair bit of work. He's going to kindergarten 2 days a week next year though so I will have more free time next year. I'm trying to forge a career as a writer, have written a few articles about Magic the Gathering and want to write more, and grow into writing for different subjects. I also want to start a youtube channel but that won't get me any money, I know that, more of a passion project. I 'should' clean my house but I rarely do. :) I have a bad back which is taking me a lot of hard work to try and improve, I can't sit in chairs for periods longer than 30 minutes.

Boogie, what I do for work is similar to you - I work constantly, mostly from home. I manage social media accounts for entertainment properties (Broadway shows, Off-Broadway shows, TV, movies, etc.). I just had the surgery on March 17 (VSG). They told me the same thing - you will have to slow down, you will have to take time for yourself. They were right, but they also don't understand how we work - how people on the internet work. It's way easier to build it into your life when you work from home and when doing research, as you were talking about, is so inherent to the way you live your life and carry out your day. I was working the day of the surgery from my phone in the hospital. Granted, I had a really smooth recovery all things considered, but if I was able to work 2 hours after waking up, I bet you'll be able to work at least a week after your surgery - even if it is only tweeting or streaming or something else you can do from a comfortable position. Now, that doesn't mean that nothing has changed in the past 2 months - many things have. I exercise every day, I make time for it. I eat better. I make time for that, too. But it's not as hard as you might think - your body chemistry is different. You feel different. You feel better when you exercise, so you adjust to make it happen. You feel better when you eat properly and frequently, so you just sort of do it. I'm not saying this was easy - it was the very opposite of that, and the first week post-surgery I was more depressed than I have been in years. BUT - this job is what helped me through it, and I bet your situation will be similar. If you have questions or ever want to vent, I'm @LauraVogel on twitter. Wishing you all the best - and try not to worry about it too much. That said, making some videos in advance isn't a bad idea, either. ;)

WORK: I'm 27, I have 3 kids, married since 2011, living on our own since we got married, and I work third shift at a rubber and plastics molding factory. A lot of times we have normal 40 hour weeks, but here recently, they've been having some serious orders come in for my department in particular so we've been having mandatory Saturdays and optional Sundays. They also have optional coming in or staying over 4 hours throughout the week on a regular basis. Granted the money is nice (not spectacular, but still better than it could be), but sometimes it's rough making sure my wife and I have time together especially since my wife is working as a swing shift manager at McDonald's. A lot of times, it's "Hi" "Bye, Love you". Weekends are mostly spent relaxing and/or getting things around the house done, since we're in the middle of paying on a place to live (be done next year :) ), going out and doing things that cost money just a lot of times isn't an option. It's a hard line to follow (money vs time together) sometimes when you're behind on bills, (especially if you have the means of getting rid of those bills quickly, but being a human with a sleep dependency and relationships is a thing).

I'm a school bus driver, so that means my job is technically half time, but cut in half. But I don't just drive a regular school bus, I drive a wheelchair bus for special needs children. And it's honestly the perfect job for me. It's not full time and there's time for me to do errands not in rush hour or evenings, when I become a mother I can get a mix of "being away from kids" and "stay-at-home mom" and my husband loves that I can be home more often. Unfortunately times are tough and my husband got laid off from his construction job, which we're still looking for jobs, so other than employment insurance, my job barely brings home the bacon. But we're surviving for now.

I adore Francis! I also adore Boogie! Francis will be funny no matter his size. Love these vlogs!!! My actual work week is usually just 40, but with commuting it's 60. A little over 150 miles a day for almost 20 years, but it is what it is. We take what we can get, right? :) Regarding your plans for the future of the channel, your perspective may change post-surgery. More opportunities will be available and you may find that you prefer spending your time doing things that you hadn't been able do to before. That wouldn't be a bad thing! Before surgery, my favorite thing was to sit on my butt surfing the web. Now it drives me batty. I find I need to move or feel as if I'm wasting this gift of life. It's not easy in any way, but though I'm only a couple months out, it was worth it. Whatever the outcome, whatever you choose to do, make it count. You can do this!!
