As a 1/72 collector myself I was excited to see your awesome collection! I try to stay away from Amercom/Atlas and Eaglemoss but some of their stuff is the only affordable options out there for certain vehicles. A lot of people say the Altaya/De Agostini and War Master products are hit or miss but some of my favorite vehicles are from those brands. If you can look past some minor historical inaccuracies, they look great on a shelf. Bar none the best products are the Hobby Master vehicles but the prices for out of production lines are insane for such a small model. The best bang for your buck products I have found are the Easy Model brand and I highly recommend them if you need to fill out certain eras of your collection. I need to try out S-Model and T-Model on Ebay too as I have seen some interesting stuff from them. I'm with you on an M-47 in 1/72... Maybe if we bombard Hobby Master they will listen! Lol

Exactly. Sometimes the lower quality brands are the only option for certain vehicles. And with the Hobby master and Dragon vehicles getting up into the 30-40 dollar range, I have to really want something for that sort of money. I have a few of the Easy Model brand. They are pretty good for the money, I agree on that.

Thank you. I had been thinking about getting some pre-built 1/72 models, but was unsure of the quality of different brands.

I collect mostly 1/32 diecast armor - of course there are a lot less choices - it’s all WW2 and a dash of Vietnam and a measure of the 1st Gulf War tanks. I do collect some 1/72 - which I keep for the prototype or paper panzers. There is a guy on eBay who prints a 3D 1/72 M-47, of course it isn’t painted and the print isn’t perfect - but in a pinch - it might work for you. My fav 1/72 model is the US T29/T95 - my fav “interesting” - I like it because the US was so conservative on it’s tank development in WW2 - then this wild beast comes out of that - such a compleat opposite.
