Heyyy there, dollfaces! This one is some seriously rambly shizzle! I hope it serves to inspire anyone who might need it right now! The bulk of the time is spent talking about writing spells, rituals etc and how to go in search of inspiration to fuel your witchy writing.

My process every time I go to watch a Kelly-Ann video: "oh I want to but it's so long, do I have time? Alright lets just start and lets see if I'm feeling it/how far I can get"... then an hour later I've paused to write some things down, replayed several bits, sometimes even decided to watch the whole thing over again. Kelly-Ann, you're awesome ^_^

I love that you talk about inspiration and finding it intentionally. I call it filling my compost bin--which is funny, because I've never been a gardener. I often have a period between "feeding" and creation, as it were, that feels like waiting for a transmutation.. turning the compost over and over in my head, as it were ;)

i love words too. Like, i can't stop listening to people speak, even when i'm asleep or in the store there's a video going, i'm a writer or stories and songs and nothing in particular. I have endless mantras i did them before i knew they're any kind of part of "witchcraft". you're a badass

I love the longer rambly videos! The longer you talk, the more useful I find them. You make things relevant, whereas the shorter 'to the point' style can seem a bit more dictatorial. At least for me! 😊

I adore your long videos; keep on being your glorious rambly self. 😘💕💖 In fact, I'm a very happy girl today because I finally have some free time to check out KZbin, and what do I find in my feed but a back-log of deliciously long Kelly-Ann videos! ::happy dancing:: 💃👏🎈🎉 I love what you have to say about writing and words, especially on getting past blocks. I've been so dry lately, writing-wise (partly due to being too busy for my liking with other shit), so this is extremely helpful. Many many thanks.

I feel the beat of words as I do my heart, and have bled them, and for them so many times in my life. I loved hearing about you express your passion for words, for their potency and provocation that that they stir. It reminds me of my childhood plugging words into my journals, freewriting from the dictionary and my continued way of seeing, living and breathing the world through the narratives of the cosmos, of other worlds and ideals and through the connection we have, that without them would not exist.

Thank you so much for this video! I have been in such a spiritual slump for what seems like an eon. I think I have been trying to try out different ways to practice my craft based on others' practices but nothing ever resonates with me like words do. I studied Romantic poetry and linguistics in college and those four years were the most powerful of my life so far. The Romantics are a wonderful way to reconnect with earth-based spirituality because nature is a key topic in their works. The other generation of poets who have influenced me are the Beats! Thank you so much for reminding me of cut-ups. While John Keats serves as a guide through nature worship for me, Burroughs is the gateway to the depths of the mind, the connected, the aether. I actually made myself a Burroughs prayer candle a while back - I need to dust it off! I stopped journaling years ago because my wrists can't handle writing for long periods anymore but I am finally coming around to the idea that there is nothing less sacred about using technology in craft. In fact, I think I am starting to see and appreciate the romance that does exist in the connectivity of technology. This is the video I have needed for a long time. Thank you so much Kelly-Ann!

I love your rambling. I sit and drink spirulina in the morning and watch you ramble. My Litha Altar is upstairs in my Room, and none of it wanted to be changed, just a welcome for the masculine change of seasons. My spirit guides refuse to move; the crystal grid is happy. I never had that happen before. I wish you and those present: a palm reading. ---->>> about the Beat Poets: there is a character on Once Upon a Time (Netflix) called Neal Cassady!!!! Just kind of a shout-out to Kerouac ------>>>>> I like to whisper words to a handkerchief, fold up the kerchief and put a crystal on top of it to secretly spruce up my life.

I know I haven't commented for an eon @Kerry Anne Maddox but thanks so much for reminding me of cut ups in the last couple of wonderful rambly witch videos amongst other things. I have written some things down from witchcraft books down in my Magical Journey Book what feels to me like how to cast a circle. But lately I have made up a little casting circle just for me and it is so simple. So when I have time to myself which isn't very often these days. I used to have at least one day a week to myself but now I rarely get so I need to make that I try to get up early to do just a mini ritual of lighting a candle and incense and read from a past Magical Journey Book.

I am slowly cleaning my room starting with my jewellery and I am also a carer for my foster mother as she can't do alot these days. When she was 55 she found out that she has cerebal palsy and just recently she had a triple bypass which she still getting over. She now has nanny naps where before the bypass she never used to have those naps. Mind you she doesn't believe in what I believe in so it is hard for me to practice my spiritual path and I that is why I only do a mini ritual.

thanks for talking about chores! I've had quite a few deities appearing in my life all of a sudden sorta and its kinda bizarre but before all that i kinda figured hygeia would be a good choice for motivation with chores and hygiene too, even tho theres not a lot out there on her. im not sure how to make these tasks a devotional to say Bast or other deities that arent associated with hygiene and household cleaning that im closer to.

Thank you for such wonderful insights. What about the Blessed Virgin? If I recall it correctly, you said in one of your videos, and it resonated so much with me, that you feel She is like a cosmic hug from the depths of the Universe (might not necessarily be those words). That brought me to tears. Do you feel like your relationship with the Virgin might touch a bit more on the hard politheist side of the spectrum? I mean, I learned a lot from this video because I do see deity as potential forces that reside within me and I certainly relate to the ones whose energy is my own, but follk magick here in Brazil is heavily based on petitioning Saints, Spirits and Deities, so I do that a lot too. Also, I remember Angel saying that she doesn't worship I-can't-remember-which deity because she felt that she already owned that energy so she prefered to worship some god whose energy would add up to hers in either balancing or empowering manner. I found that very interesting and enriching as well.

out of ALL of your videos I do believe this is my most favorite and dearest to my heart. I too am a lover of words. All words , all languages literally anything to do with them . My mom said I would read the dictionary for fun in fourth and fifth grade just to discover new words. I am a lil obsessed maybe i do not know but what I do know is I'm grateful for this. If you don't mind I'd also love to incorporate the written word or just the stories or letters to diety in my practice? I have used different ways to use like vision boards and such but you've literally gave me all sorts of ideas and insperation , obviously. Sorry for the paragraph but I got way to happy and excited from this video. xo

Since I subscribed to you a while ago, I've really been taking my shadow work seriously. I've been progressing spiritually and am becoming more adept at astral travel/lucid dreaming. My request from you, if you will kindly take it under consideration, is how to do shadow work in the astral realm? I know you do astral travel/projection but you don't talk about it in your videos (the closest was the servitor vids which is one of my faves) and I also know how much you adore shadow work so I hope this is a topic that you would explore with your followers. The dreams I've been having have really been focusing on shadow and death but I need some advice from the teachers I have on this plane on how to overcome whatever block I'm having. I know part of my shadow relates to incestual rape in my childhood, though my memories are still repressed, but that may be something I need to dig into. Again, my question is more HOW I can do shadow work in the astral realm? Thanks for any response!

But I also think improve spells have their own power but I'm an air witch sooo communication comes easily. Also, it can ruin a good kick ass spell/ritual if you get writer's blocks... This reminds me of that South Park episode (Christian Rock Hard) where Cartman's band replaces songs with the word "baby" with "Jesus". Off the top of my head "Hail Hecate full of grace, lost souls are with thee. Blessed art though amongst the gods and blessed are the fruits of your work and guidance." It feels so heretical! *gets zapped by lightning* Anyway, I enjoy and appreciate your long videos. Even if I just have you playing in the background, I catch bits and pieces of words and phrases. I'm not as articulate as I wish to be so listening to someone who use language so artfully and expertly helps me get my mind organized.
