There has to be some sort of punishment for officers reaching and trying to give people the wrong charges. Also kind of stupid that if a judge isn't available for a bench trail that charges get placed on your record, I get being fined and sent to jail but having to wait like over a week with a felony on your record to be able to appeal is crazy.

The crazy thing is, last time Maple did this with the G6 money and he tried to charge them with Robbery of a financial institution, he even made the comment that he's not the kind of cop to look to give the biggest charges or stack charges, yet here he is doing it again. Trying to argue that assault with a deadly weapon is attempted murder, in which case, why does that charge even exist? And the thing with this is you know it isn't a character thing, as an RP'er he actually thinks his character is a good cop who is doing the right thing.

They said at the start that they won't knock back stuff for the driver aka Ramee having being their main-suspect and was not caught and they voice id's him while he drove. So it might essentially be almost over for Ramee to atleast represent anyone he knows and they won't anyway give him Anything without him requisting it (like documents), which is like 4-5 days and needs a bench and kills any chance of him knocking down charges properly. So it's essentially whatever if he get's caught at this point if cops will be This hard on him in the future whoever is the client.

@@WarrenPuffet as evidence yes what you're saying is correct. However cops can 100% identity someone by the sound of their voice because they recognized it. They just cannot use it as a basis to write warrants, to charge for crimes, or as evidence in court. Also they didn't hear him on the radio, maybe my comment wasn't clear, they heard him in person as he was on the scene and involved and they voice id'd him on their own radios and ramee heard them say it was ramee.

They cannot use voice id as a basis for warrants, to push charges, or in court. However they can 100% recognize the sound of someones voice and call it out on radio which is what happened in this situation. They heard ramee shout from the car at the court house and a cop said on radio that one of the people was ramee.

I mean it's a combination of a lot of things, he hit 2 cops, robbed a bank tried to evade, resisted arrest + he had 1 or 2(not sure) warrants that were added to his time. So I don't think 120months is that crazy in this context. On the other hand trying to charge him with the wrong charges and only changing them to the right charges if he pleeds guilds is crazy. Also the 10months time off after all that seems more like a spit in the face more then anything, either don't him give any time off or give a meaningful time off.

@@adanedan8636 the charge of murder in any country with a legal system is a crime that requires the prosecution to prove intent, which is very hard if the person never openly states it. This is why most murderers actually get manslaughter instead, because manslaughter does not require you to prove intent, only that somebody died, and the person charged was willfully negligent or acted recklessly.

It doesn't but in 4.0 they have tried to get people out time served if it leads like here into them spending this much time in the cells. Because why lawyer rp if it just means for you another hour of essentially prison. Somehow they just didn't budge here. I don't know why they Only took 10 months down. If it was for Ramee being in on the job and them voice id'ing him, they had a weard day needing to "win" or whatever it is. Them being mad for the guys trying to get Taco for so long. Could be myriad of reasons, you never know with them in NP.

in 3.0 the times for crimes was higher so after crims complained about it for like a year they added the ability to see how long someone was cuffed to remove that time. In 4.0 there is no rule about time served though.

Ive seen Ramee literally flee 3 crimes and then go to represent whoever gets caught. Can only presume they were involved in this crime too.
