I haven't watched any interviews because I so love the character, but I'm glad I watched this interview. He's genuinely down to earth, smart, funny, humble, and not only does he love Elliot, but he thanks everyone (especially Sam Esmail) for even having the chance, the words, the direction, etc. Love that he hasn't become this big character in his own life where he's above it all, but instead gives the nod of thanks to Sam and even gushed a bit about Christian. Here's to season 3!

I worked on the season finale where I got to stand next to Rami Malik and Christian Slater towards the end. Hard to believe Rami is in his mid 30s he looks so young. He's pretty cool and down to earth and owns up to any mistakes he's made but he's not pressured to be "perfect..." kinda has the youthful innocence to him still. Christian Slater is also a pretty nice guy but boy he looked tired that morning when we finally wrapped, yet he still was up for making chit chat.

Rami is a true talent here, and should be appreciated for reasons beyond the role. I work with young people with mental illness, including broad spectrum autism, personality disorders and schizophrenia. The character of Elliot, as portrayed by by Rami, beautifully demonstrates the potential of the most vulnerable people in modern society. Elliot's bewilderment at times is heart-breaking in how it destroys his perception of reality. I imagine this experience playing over and over in young people in community care. Rami's research with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals is a homework well spent. Observers of the show can experience the world of the mentally ill in a somewhat thrilling manner, yet still stay in touch with the fact that the hero is unwell, yet still (as described by the Dark Army) a true Master. Thanks uploader, and congrats/respect to entire cast and crew of Mr Robot.

You get the feel Rami cannot be Rami and despite the success and adulation, he is who he is. That means he was healthy before he got success. Unique face...not Hollywood-like...Mr Robot was a risk which is why it hit so hard. This usually doesn't work...never on the big four networks. Rami in a blue suit in real life can almost be GQ w/his slim physique but on set look rouge and distraught, isolated and depressed and stay in that character (dark, heavy, intense). His face allows him to convey so many emotions (GQ to almost Down Syndrome)...that is a huge range.

The apple corporation was degraded to a degree in the TV show "Mr.Robot"; as, "Elliot", the main character, explained in the first episode about Steve Jobs. It's a hypocrisy mixed with irony is all. I do know that Mac (apple) products are based off of the Unix operating system, and have been EXTREMELY successful over the years- In particular 2014; Mac OS X actually had the largest installed Unix base. ;)

He is always like this. High energy. He stated once that he got in trouble in school for always moving around. He couldn't sit still. He is type A, a perfectionist, and always working on something., I have noticed when under pressure he exhibits some tics like a mild Tourettes. Since all the press for Bohemian Rhapsody he has worked on relaxing more during interviews. I am sure his publicist and agent have schooled him on that. People start speculating he was high on drugs so I can see he has made an effort to show a more controlled side.
