Even something as passively as conversation can turn into just another day at the office. Keeping a conversation going but knowing in talk show business you dont look back, just plow ahead while keeping a smile can appear unauthentic. Case in point, he was attempting to highlight ramiks quick rise to stardom but ramiks instinctual reaction to suspect ill will, couldn't thwart him, he had to continue like nothing wrong was going on to not derail the conversation. As hard as it is to believe, a little unintentional stumble has to be blindly ignored to get to the next thing. As they say, the show must go on.
