Ah! how refreshing!......real jazz!....conversational ...spontaneous...energetic...spiritual! How on earth does this music not get the exposure it deserves? I'll tell you why ...because the listener has to engage with the language of this music. It is not the language of be-bop, although there are elements of that language in there of course, no jazz would be complete without it, but is not a slavish replica, it is what jazz is supposed to be ......vibrant,challenging,frightening, joyous. An expressive dialogue of the world we live in now! People .....please widen your horizons open your ears and minds and travel into the beautiful world of creative music of the NOW!
