I was at the show in Kutztown, PA and I asked him to perform this song since my mom passed away recently. He acknowledged my request. It was so touching. I was bawling in my seat. I got to meet him afterwards and thank him in person & he reached out to give me a hug and then told me how he was touched that his music helped me. I have no words for how special that moment was.

I wrote to him for an autograph and told him about my mother being killed by a drunk driver. I sent it with a birthday card for him and never heard back so I figured he was too busy. On the anniversary of my mother's death in Feb., it came back to me. I think he hung onto it until it reached me closer to the date. I also reached out to the writers of the song to use the lyrics in my book. Don Mescall met me for coffee in Blackheath and we had a great visit. Smaller independent artists are the best. They're just that much closer to their fans.

I'm so sorry about your mom, I lost my dad when I was young, so I know what it's like to lose a parent. But that is so sweet that he honored your request and gave you a hug!

@@katiemarabello6652 Whose address? Ramin's - he was playing in Toronto in Les Mis at the time. Don, I just emailed him from his website, he said I could use the lyrics and I said I had something to thank him with so he met me in a coffee shop in Blackheath. I sent Don my book afterwards and may still have THAT address if you want it. For Ramin, just wait 'til he's in a long-time performance somewhere and send it to that theatre.

I am in awe of him. He is like an Angel. He is my Angel of Music! I feel this really big wave of love, humbleness and gentleness from his singing and movements…He is also really and definitely special! His smooth voice lifts your spirits any day at any time. There is something about his voice that I can’t ever explain. I can hear the pain and ache in his voice in some songs and there is no word in the entire dictionary that explains that feeling when listening to it! When he looks into the camera, he smiles too and it just feels as if he is looking into your soul. He has helped so many people undoubtedly. He is this source of happiness, light and joy to us all! He is a role model that teaches people to stay positive, to keep fighting, to remain brave, to stay ambitious, to stay focused, to stay strong and to stay inspired! He is heart-warming and heaven and treats every single supporter with respect and love. I think everyone will need him in their life. He speaks with words of honesty in interviews and he has a soothing voice. When he talks, you start to daydream. He is extremely hard working and puts his absolute best in everything he does. His performing is captivating, breath-taking and a blessing. His bright smile will make you more in love than before and will give you all hope and warmth! He is Mr. Funny Man at his best moments. He is sweet like honey, and he provides us with happiness in the darkest of times. My love for him is endless and forever will be

I want to hug him so badly. I want to run and jump into his arms and cry on his shoulder. I envy anyone who has hugged him or has been held by him. I bet he has the warmest hugs
