Ramin is now releasing the ultimate Country/Broadgrass EP 'The Road To Find Out' -- an amalgamation between Broadway and Bluegrass music, out on 7 April via Big Hand Recordings. Ramin is the first artist to fall under the 'Broadgrass' genre, which has evolved since his first album was released on Sony in 2011/2012.
'East' is the first of four EPs from 'The Road To Find Out' release series, with 'North', 'South' and 'West' to follow. In the world of theatrical performers, Ramin is known as one of the most formidable talents in the industry and for his leading roles in international theatre productions such as Jean Valjean in Les Misérables and Raoul and Phantom in the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera.
The tracks on 'East' include "Oh What A Beautiful Morning" from Oklahoma, a brand new song called "Losing" which Ramin wrote with Hadley Fraser (an English stage actor, who played Javert in Les Misérables) and features Katie Birtill on vocals, "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables" from Les Miserables, and "Broken", another original track co-written with Hadley.

It's about a couple falling out of love in particular a wife falling out of love with her husband. They r losing the love they have for each other. So yes at the end it is the end of their relationship she is leaving him.

In the treatment for the video, I wanted to show the equality of the two characters in love. At the end of it, Ramin is packing his bags to go on the road for a tour, and she (Alysha Brilla) is dressed up because she is leaving for an awards show. I realize that this was left open to the viewer's perception, and could have meant any of many situations. It was left open for interpretation, to meld with how the song transpires. It is about both of them being successful in their musical careers = equality of power for both male & female characters. Is is also about how success can come between two people in love. But again, all is open to interpretation; depending on how the song resonates w. you.
