A lovely presentation of a lovely educator and an icon of the Golden Days of the past when mission schools were allowed to enhance education and discipline in the total absence of fears and suspicions because of a different faith following. As recently as the year 2000 my Malay secretary came to my office to tell me proudly that she was a Convent girl and that her father who happened to be a teacher insisted that all in the family only went to Catholic Mission schools. It is truly a pity that the Missionaries were made to get back to where they once belonged in order to make way for the present system that now have. God Bless this lovely teacher Aunty Ram for her contributions.

If only the missionaries stop deceiving the people by giving out contributions in return to convert them.

Malays these days have been programmed to be intolerant and extremists by UMNO and PAS respectively. Malaysia is a sinking ship. Foreign companies only use this country for dumping radioactive waste and other garbage.

My Malay parents were educated in English school before the independent. They both went to Methodist School for Boys in Tanjung Malim and Convent Teluk Intan. As such, they command generally a good English mastery and without the Singlish slang when speaking.

😊🙏 Malaya & later early Malaysia were much more Cosmopolitan & Madani than now & the Mutual Respect , Close Togetherness & Teamwork produced so many Top Students from Malaysia in other Universities & Malaysia's English proficiency was Top Class too! We emphasised on Spirituality & Good Morality than bigoted religions back then! 🕯🌍✌🌷🌿💜🕊🇲🇾

A gem lost through the ages, both the principal and an education system that was good for ALL REGARDLESS. Strangely and sadly, few Msians like her are properly honoured and recognised instead of silly politicians.

Those days the teachers are very strict, these thing made us resilient until now. Although the teacher are strict but they are the one who made us what we are today. Once our parent handover their children to the teacher, that is it. Our parent will not get involve on what the teacher is going to do with their children. But now the parents are too pampered of their children. The teacher cannot even scold their children, everything will go viral in the social media. The children is spoil because of their parents.

ASALAMUALAYKUM WRB.Hi everyone.Poor lost misguided Ramlah till such old age of 93 still do not see the true light of Islam which is the only right thing in life and the true purpose of life. Theres nothing admirable to be blind at heart and mind until the end.Allah hafazna. Yes from days of youth with kebaya and now without hijab or proper dress of cover or having the right mind is di pathetic.Whats so great abt Irish nuns and w Biden Irish US president going hand in hand w doing atrocities with the Jews on Muslims in Palestine and on us in Malaya then Msia until today. Whata so strict following the white orang putih lebih lagi for what ? Are u a Muslim Nenek great Ramlah at 93. Tobatlah u still have a good sound mind read yr Quran properly dress and think right before it's too late.Like Dr Hasmah in 90s almost 100 or Rafidah 8n her 80s still tak pakai tudung dan baju betul or that kufr Tasnim in 50s dan Natasha destroying Shariah laws...May Allah protect us from these evil doers. May Allah guide us to Yom Qiyamah...Allahyahdina waydhdikum.
