As the wall construction method continued, i wondered about the likelihood of physical wear and tear on a person's joints. As efficient as this combination might be, there is a potential down side to it. Yes, i agree that there is a "feel good" benefit to this method of self-sufficiency, but there is always a price to be paid for everything. Enjoyed watching your construction method and your enthusiasm.

I wonder, since its not stabilized, if you should leave the forms on overnight to ensure rigidity and possibly reduce the damage caused my accidents (corner). Great video and thanks for sharing. I think there are also gloves you can buy that reduce the vibrational impact of ramming and I would agree, lift, drive down but let fall.

I am learning from you. I want to do a fence around 2 acres of land

Now this is what I would call proper rammed earth because you left out the toxic cement. However, I'm thinking some hempcrete would help to stabilize these walls or perhaps volcanic ash, if available, to mimic what the Romans did. Thumbs up!

So how do you connect the two wall segments? I didn't see it explained anywhere...

What’s the max recommended height for a rammed earth wall? For instance if the form was 10 feet high, how would you be able to tamp it down when it’s so deep?

Last a thousand years? You damaged it in the first 5 minutes.
