If taken factually, that means only a single thing was killed, italy's reputation. The german was fine and america has no culture, just a mashed together collection of imported cultural elements, (tho not exactly spot on,brad pasley get's it kinda right in All American Saturday Night) (btw, i'm not american myself,tho mymother remarried an american who expressed that sentiment, and in years since every americani spoke with about the subject shared that same sentiment)
