Great job in this! On the “Tiefe Wasser sind nicht still” part which you translated “Deep waters don’t run still” I think that “deep waters are not still” would be a more literal translation. Although that’s not to say that the song doesn’t mean that.

Rammstein is named after that base but at the time when the band was formed they didn't know how Ramstein is spelled.

There was an accident during an aerial exhibition at Ramstein in the eighties, lots of people died and they decided to take the name and put another m to make it a bit more edgy, since it was the 90s. Their first album, Herzeleid, has a song called Rammstein that directly talks about the accident. Verses such as Ein Flamenmeer, Fleischgerucht in der Luft, ein Kind stirbt, etc. describe the scenery of Ramstein's aerial accident.
