Yeah. Flake wrote in his book that Till thought of keeping that "tunnel", but had problems with eating and drinking after that and always had to put a hand on his cheek to avoid liquids coming out so he decided to get rid of it again.

Rammlied is just Rammsong !!! „Lied“ is pronounced like in the verb „to lead“ and is just the German word for song !!! Yes he had a hole in his cheek for a few months after the Ich Tu Dir Weh official video. He had to let it seal up eventually because of infections.

The pronunciation of "Rammlied" could be written as follows: "Rammlead". "Lied" means song. For me perhaps the most impressive intro; such a forceful title with a very expressive performance! Till's "acting" and his facial expression are magnificent and fits for this powerfull song. The whole concert at MSG is so stunning and the audience gets wild and appreciates it all!

Oh the cheek thing wasnt fake😂 He used to do it. And did it for the Music Video to "Ich tuh dir weh". So the wire would go through his cheek, but it kept getting infected so he stopped😂 (thank God😂)

I was at this show. To this day, I have yet to go to another concert and see the crowd as electric as it was that night. That, and out of all the times I've seen them live, I still say this was their loudest show, even louder than the stadium tour.

Love this! It's very well edited because if you watch an audience video, the frame of Till's 'vault door' gets stuck as they are trying to get it off stage and a stagehand has to come on and give it a shove or two - it's very jolly! You'd never know from the DVD though. Saw them do the new 'Rammlied' entrance, with the projection on the tower screen, twice this year - it works well too, such a great opening song, the crowd (and us) loved it 'cos we got to scream from the start LOL.

As to "Lied" (the double vowels e and i) here's a saying: "When "i" and "e" go walking, the second does the talking". In this case, the second is "e", so it's pronounced "Leed". In "Mein Land" the "i" is second, so it is pronounced "mine".

You should look for „Ramm4“ edited by BandsThatRock!! (just 220 hits) on KZbin. The video quality is not very good but it is Multi Edit + English subtitles (the only subtitled live Rammstein version I could find). Ramm4 is a very, very special Rammstein song which you do not find on any Rammstein album (yet ?) but which served as an opener in 2016 ! You will understand what I mean by that when you watch it …

"Rammlied" simply means "Rammsong". Lied = Song. Ramm - "jemanden rammen" - to ram someone, like "ram him into the ground". It's a very clever songtitle. Most Rammstein lyricss are very poetic in german language and can be interpreted in several ways. Good example: "Du hast": "Du hast mich gefragt" means "You have asked me", but "Du hasst (mich)" means "You hate (me)".

As far as I know, not only for the video. He actually wanted to perform with the cable through the cheek also in concerts. However, the place was always inflamed, so he refrained from this idea. I heard that from Paul Landers in a video. He talked about how crazy Till is and what he does with his body. See also the video for the title "Tongue". What kind of person has his mouth sewn shut?
