Richie hubiese seguido en la banda si le hubiesen dado una parte que le correspondía de las ganancias de las ventas de poleras en las cuales aparece su nombre, pero el resto no le dio bola, Richie en sus propias palabras dijo que no les estaba pidiendo el mundo, solo la parte que le correspondía y nada mas, se desmotivo y no se presentó en dos conciertos sin avisar a nadie , entonces ahi llamaron a Clem Burke pero no les convenció asi que ahi llamaron a Marky

​@@EduardoPinto814No recuerdo la fuente pero Richie comentó una vez que Johnny pensaba despedirlo de la banda de todas formas pasara o no el inconveniente de las camisetas. Eso mismo fue lo que lo terminó por convencer de no presentarse a esos shows que Clem Burke tuvo que cubrir.
