I had a friend who went to see the Ramones live in concert. He said it was the best show he ever went to. And he was shocked at how they didn’t let up. They just played their short, fast songs one after another. He was blown away! He couldn’t stop raving about it. He said they were real rock n roll! Long live the Ramones!

I didn't really start listening to the Ramones until I was in my early 30's and the more I have listened to them over the las 15 years or so the more I have grown to absolutely love them. They are now probably in my top 3 or 4 all time favorite bands. So many of my friends say that "All their songs sound exactly alike". I just tell them you just have to keep listening to them and you will eventually get it like I did. :)

some people think all classical music sounds the same...it's about educating your ear...the Ramones use the same instrumentation, which is what confuses people who don't really listen, but the variety of melodies and guitar riffs they created is astonishing
