this is great...good recording of the Ramones at their peak...this version of I'm Affected is a real revelation....love the way the sound sometimes overwhelms the recording equipment and creates this surging, wavy sound, like we are hearing the concert through a black hole or a rip in the time space continuum

I was there just 21. One of the most mind blowing gigs ever. Dee Dee non stop pumping away seemed to have a blister burst on his right thumb. Bit the flap of skin off spat it on the floor and soldiered on. I saw 'em and now they're dead, my turn next at 62, fuck yeah 1, 2, 3, 4.

I love his voice on the early/mid-80s live recordings, when it was starting to get deeper and edgier. As much as I enjoy all their studio albums, hearing the End of the Century songs live here just makes me wonder what could have been.

I saw Ramones in concert 46 times. In ‘86 (with Richie on drums) they were at their peak live. Tighter, faster, on their game. They’d play 32 to 37 songs within 70 to 80 minutes. Every show was awesome

I saw the them on this tour in 1980 at La Trobe University Melbourne I was 17 a bit drunk and had one of the best nights of my life! The support acts were la femme INXS .

Always wanted ro know if the ramones ever considered adding a second guitar or even a piano or whatever, the base wall of sound would always be there. I think they are perfect the way they are but feel they would have reached the stardom they deserved

For RSD you'd expect better quality, and a coloured vinyl album.... But....I love the bootleg quality vibe, if I'd bought this at a record fair as a bootleg, I'd of been fine about the sound, so no complaints. I saw and met the Ramones a few times, live in my home town of Liverpool UK, and Manchester UK, still have my personal photos of them with me.

@@badbum61 I always felt they came back and did Chinese Rocks, Beat on the Brat, and We're a Happy Family. That was the standard setlist at this time. Maybe someone out there was at the show can chime in?

@@jwwmantis They definitely played 30 songs in a row, no doubt about it. That was basically the end of every show in EOTC tour to close up with Chinese, Brat and Happy Family.

The Ramones did 2 encores as standard and occasionally would do a third. I imagine they only put a 60 minute tape in the soundboard recorder!
