I "beat" that first level in a very silly fashion. I had no idea how to defeat the Icon of Sin, tried and died repeatedly, and after the last attempt I went to make a cup of tea before restarting. When I got back to the computer, the level had completed itself!!!

Yeah, David mentioned that being a possibility. Shame as the idea is decent: best workaround is to just force a button press at the end (after which dying is possible so a squeeze through all the enemies is enough).

What a ride it was so far. Decided to not do a playthrough of 2024, think I will for 2025, so eagerly awaiting the skipped maps.

Yeah, I was very much aware of the flaw in The Final Judgement where you can essentially "win" by being dead until Romero head gets crushed off-screen. This map was supposed to be the final map of Torment of Screams before the project fell through. I hadn't perfected the map at the time, and posted it to RAMP at the last minute because I didn't want it to go to waste. Now, I think a much more proper way to do this while still adhering to the vanilla restrictions would be to have the crushers actually crush Commander Keens off screen instead of Romero's head, which'll cause a chamber to open up and reveal a vital organ (heart, brain, etc.) that you've to destroy in order to finish the level, so you'll have some input by the end and not just "win" by being dead.

Congrats on making it through the initial wave of maps and running this amazing creator’s program. I know that some of these have been a slog but I know that many of these map makers are very appreciative of your skillful playthrough and feedback. Looking forward to seeing the second wave and finale in the coming videos!

The Hive Mother's from Sunder, if I recall correctly. She was also in the original RAMP thing in the Integumentary map.
