He was staked for half of his million dollar stack. So he only got to keep half of the 560k he won, still. Not bad for a days work. I love rampages story. Started from the bottom, now we hear. I like him better than Stanley, Stanley just created a stupid app. Lucked out and made a billion. Food delivery has been around since forever. Even grocery deliver was around in the 1950s. They just used to use phones. Stanley just made an app that streamlined it. All in phone app. Anyone can make an app and luck out, I know someone who made a phone app and sold it to Microsoft for 6 million. Back in the old days where the sidekick was around and the iPhone 1 just came out. In the infancy stages of smart phones. Stanley got lucky.

Have struggled with my "lack of aggression" playing low stakes until I watched several of your video's.. Quickly saw that I had been playing too high of stakes, which kept me from following thru with C bets and occasional bluffs. By dropping down in stakes, my win rate went up almost immediately! Really admire how humble you are at the tables too, there are some large Ego's (clear my throat...Hellmuth) who is so awkward to watch! Also looks like the Poker Community has welcomed you in,!!!

@mrhumble2937 I sort of get you, but we can't just look at blockers all the time. I think the fold with QQ is a little too much of an exploit... and you know what they say about exploitative plays. They're there to be exploited 🤣😏 Bad fold for me
@panicpoker
@panicpoker Жыл бұрын
@@onlyweatherlol93 I agree. What’s in his calling range if he is folding sets here? With his exact hand it looks like he would only be calling here if he fills up on the turn or river. It’s easy for me to be a Monday morning quarterback here but I think either either go broke or win a big one if I’m Handz.

@@spenceringermanson4385 I get that AA, KK, KQ block the straight and make it less likely our opponent has the nuts. I’m just not buying that Handz is calling in this spot with any of those hands. Great bluff but a Handz played this hand terribly. He is literally only losing to AK, and I doubt Rampage would open K9 out of position this deep. Rampage could also have set of Jacks or 10s that will play this way. Handz got literally the one of very very few blank river card and he still decided to fold. I wonder what was his plan on the flop and river? If a diamond or even club hit I could understand his fold, but if he played his hands this way, just called preflop and call on flop and river, I dont think he can or should fold river. If the opponent had a straight then so be it.

I will never understand people who have this mindset that just because they’re in position that they must have all of their range and their opponent should have the bottom of their range. That’s not the case especially when you’re talking about hand position near the button. Just about every strong hand in position will have a person to their left or right that will have just as strong, if not stronger given the board texture. I think rampage has a tendency to avoid clashing, but at the same time, he never gives his opponent credit, which is why he falls into the category of someone who gets knocked out early or able to avoid tendency breakers and make it to the final table Not a chance I’m folding that set . Because you’re not playing like you have ace king, ace king would want other peoples aggression to pay them while being conscientious of the board texture. Your aggression should’ve been a clear cut case of bluffing. It’s hard to want to play for all of your chips, but when you have top set with an under repped set I don’t think you can give you a pony credit for Ace King. And they’re not going to triple barrel because they want their opponents to bluff .” he made a really good fold in theory” this is what happens when people rely on math and ICM rather than reading your opponent. If he would’ve looked at you for even a second, he would’ve saw right through you.
