Single malts can be compared with well-crafted blends or blended malts. There are some excellent blended whiskies as well which are as good as some single malts. Of course one cannot compare them with cheap blends.

That's an interesting verdict..Rampur better than Glenlivet and Glenfiddich... I think most of us stick to these to Glens not knowing there are so many there

It had better be, Rampur is almost twice the price of Glenlivet and Glenfiddich 12. Also these 2 are entry level basic single malts scotches.

I had tasted few very good whiskies they taste good but i couldnt figure out nodes and the tastes but i like chiva regal 12 and 18… one whisky i really found apart was nikka … i think has more alcohol than other but it was stand out as far my experience i even tried habiki after that but nikka was my favourite
