A customer told me yesterday he heard on the radio something about Bennett is supposed to be on some medication and the NFL testing was having issues with it and apparently needed the year to work out the solution. The question concern was, can he perform at the NFL level on a different medication he wasn't used to or sure of it's effectiveness. No idea of the source (i did ask) or if he made it up, but he shrugged and said only told me because he knew I was a Rams fan. Interesting take, if I had to bet I would have gone a different type of medication, but I can see this fitting equally well and supports the hush hush of it all.

He was placed on " reserve/non-football illness list" for an "off-the-field personal matter" "For something bigger than football" 🤔It's clearly not an injury or illness or criminal issue. It's been described as a personal issue that should be kept private. Since he's been known to have a drinking problem in college, all the clues/statements all seem to lead to this conclusion. The most recent statements: "Looking forward to getting him back and seeing how he's feeling. And we'll just take it a day at a time with him," "He’s done a great job being engaged in the meetings" "he has a good look in his eyes" 🤷‍♂ If it was something that Stetson was doing on purpose, they would cut him and not bother. But with alcoholism, the organization and the league will give a player a chance to get better. Help him get some help to a point. It's just my speculation of course.😉
