You have to put it in context. The scenarios discussed were based on if the Rams went 0-3, or got to the bye with 0 or 1 win. Then you have to start thinking about next year. At that point, maybe you trade him to Miami for a pick and a Linebacker or something like that. And role with Jimmy G. You have to remember, his contract is basically up this year the way they restructured it. No more guaranteed money. So if the season was over before it began, they would have to then decide if they are going to sign him to a big contract after the season and it probably wouldn't make sense. So at that point, you try to get value. But yes, the Rams may have saved their season, have a few winnable games in the next 3 or 4 and could get right back in the mix. And if this young team looks good, perhaps they sign Stafford to a big contract after the season. But you can't not discuss/contemplate it. It's a numbers game.

I thought Atwell was a reach first year, but he was better than some gave credit. Unlike last year, the competition has added three solid WR roster additions… that is until Kupp and Nacua were injured. The WR room is fine. When Kupp and Nacua return, I hope McVay simply plays the best performers. Great team win, so proud of them all.

There’s 17 games in a season even if they lost I know they would recover people are to quick to give up on the rams with they’re ridiculous comments about rebuilding and trading away the greatest quarterback on the planet
