The fact they went and paid for Jimmy G. says everything you need to know about whether the Rams think he can even be a legit backup. go listen to Mcvey's comments after the 1st preseason game. He has no confidence in him. Watch him play. There is no doubt he is not a legit NFL qb.... if you are such a fanboy of him from college you can't see what he is ... i can't help you.

Exactly! Trust McVay! I think the same about Stetson Bennett. He's good, and Rodgers just doesn't want to admit it. Every QB has interceptions. True, you don't want 5 in a game. But he learned from that and cleaned it up the second preseason game. He has to be able to get some snaps . His 1st game against the Cowboys was starting off badly. But he came back to win. He doesn't give up ever .

Only scary thinng with this team is our oline . Injuries . Jackson now out to start . This season will come down to 1 thing. The line keeping matt clean. Period. If the line doesnt protect him we could very much have a bad season or what most of us would consider bad. The first 4 teams we face all are capable of putting up 30+ pts . Going into detroit the environment will be just like the wild card. Loud rowdy and insane. Offense needs to be ready to roll week 1 against a det team that is gonna put up points. I do believe our defense will end up being top 10 this year , but asking them to be great week 1 against a comtending team on the road is too much to ask of a defense with so many new and young faces .

Jimmy G got to NFC title games, why would you trade? If they're going to trade for anything it should be a CB not a QB. Stafford is going to have an MVP season...he wont get it, because of DEI, they'll give it to someone who had Tyrod Taylor's stat line last year, like Lamar the "QB".

Rams official website SUCKS! No real stories. When doing press conferences, can’t hear the questions from the reporters or who they’re talking about. I’m left wondering who the heck is being discussed. The Seahawks put closed caption below during their pressers to understand what reporters are saying. When showing team photos of players getting off the bus or getting on a plane, the player’s name should be on the photo instead of the photographer’s dumb name every time. Many players are recognizable but many aren’t. The website should be designed to entertain the fans.

Were in a tough spot with kupp . Some understand it and some refuse to cuz they like him alot but here it is ... hes being paid a lot . Believe its 30+ mill per season . That would qualify him amongst the top 5-7 best wrs in the league . To justify his salary he needs to perform like a top 5-7 wr. Now last year he got a pass cuz he was hurt sure. Ive kept a close eye on hom during the summer. Watched each and every scrimmage during camp. Hes struggling to get open. He did ok vs dallas but against chargers and texans he got smothered like a blanket in flat out 1 on 1 man coverage. Stingley from houston made him look like an average wr at best it honestly shocked me. Now. Point of what im saying regardless how much we love him , if hes not producing at the level hes being paid something needs to be done and history proves it will be done. No matter who its been , goff , gurley , ramsey , cooks , woods etc ... the second your production doesnt match your salary they move you. If he produces fantastic , we all want him to thrive hes a fan favorite. But if hes not , as much as we hate it a move needs to be made

I do not think Bennett is the answer for backup. Also too late to trade for a QB. The question is moot as McVay will not cut him unless he throws 3 interceptions/no TDs in a regular season game. Short of this, he’ll remain on the roster.

​@@ricddewbe54true but I can't lie. I watched every scrimmage we've had this off-season and he's struggled. He's had a really hard time getting open unfortunately. Some will say oh it's camp etc maybe but mcvay is adamant he uses these scrimmages in place of preseason games to get our guys reps against other starting defenses. So I can't see kupp just going through motions in scrimmages. Point is I wouldn't expect to see anything close to sb run kupp.
