A presentation of Ramses3000's album Thalamus, which was released last Spring at Intercept Records. With this album the producer aimed to compose music that allows the listener to relax and process the stimuli of daily life. For this project Verhoeven relocated his studio to Park Zuiderhout, a historic monastery and elderly home. Crafting Thalamus for two years resulted in a cross-pollination where the classical and digital worlds meet, incorporating influences from ambient, jazz, new age and psychedelic music. This album is out now at vinyl.
On October 19th the producer is bringing his interdisciplinary performance to Concertgebouw, for a special curated evening during Amsterdam Dance Event. Tickets are now out sale.
