I don't think Hamna is socially awkward. Notice how she behaved normally in university. She's more reserved at home because she doesn't have a good listener. She tried opening up to Rumi but Rumi always interrupts her and assumes things on her own. The father is loving but he only asks her consent AFTER agreeing to the rishta which only adds pressure on her. Plus he doesn't really ask her marzi, he tells her 'kya tmhay mere faislay per aitbar nahi? Mjhe bta do k nera maan yaktarfa nahi'. That's not how parents should ask for their daughters consent. It's emotional blackmailing. I think Hamna's biggest mistake was letting her sister get married to her vengeful ex. But apart from that I understand her. She's the black sheep of the family.

Sara Naveed i agree. The character was badly written and her character is very annoying. The fact that people find Hamna annoying shows she performed it well. I also think its unfair to question the actors upon the flaws in the scripts. They just perform, i dont think they have a say in the storyline or script. However these question will definitely make actors re think their choices of roles they pick up. Also actors can make an error of judgement when picking up a role and personally i think there is no harm in admitting that. Its a learning curve, Ramsha is a young actor and has a long career ahead and i am sure she will pick up better scripts in future.

I absolutely loved Ramsha in the role of Hamna. She played the character beautifully and I also loved Hamna. This was the first drama I watched of Ramsha and after that watched more of her series. No doubt Hania also played Rumi effortlessly but Ramsha was class apart. Believe it or not, her character was real as we have a lot of Hamnas in our society. I could totally relate to her. And then watched her in Ghisi Piti Mohabbat....and now following her in Sinf e Ahaan. She is my favourite. ❤️

An actor plays a character, it is not necessary for the actor to relate with the character. It’s the writer’s creation , so the actor need not justify the character. Also it is more challenging to do characters you do not approve of, or dislike. It would be very easy to play yourself. Criticism of the character is a win for the actor and praise for the character is not necessarily the praise of the actor. How convincingly an actor plays the character is what matters for the actor. A versatile actor accepts all kinds of roles not just that of good, sensible, intelligent or bold people.

Yes hamna character is totally acceptable...this is the only drama i watch...because it has a very different concept warna to hr trf sas bahoo k dramy..this drama is a lesson for the girls in uni/or general..don't fall in love or start relationship parents sy chup k.. & if uh still do..you should marry that boy as soon as possible..but i agree about character of hamna..her father was not well & she got emotional bcz of his father trust..so she married that is totally fine.. Abhe bhe quiet rehna he bnta..After all this journey she will come back to life, she will realize her mistakes & she will learn from it..their family will realize the importance of sharing & consent of child before marriage & hamza will realize what goes around comes around.. So better to have faith in Allah's direction rather than revenge & stuff..So this drama is a lesson for many people..& hamna uh nailed it..Portraying a girl like hamna..k people start feeling she is dead.. Does a socially awkward girl has an affair for 4 years in college and has keeps lots of friends with whom she shares all secrets of her life ? But she cant share anything wt rumi , her sister , for 4 years, bec she is socially awkward ? She cant tell azeem before marrying him , that she had an affair? That's betrayal . It was an active affair , not a thing of past which was over. Humna is weak , indecisive and forever confused.

Ramsha Khan is such a great person in real❤ she is beautiful and savage too loved the way she confronted Hassan on his remarks and appreciate her gesture to take criticism in such a positive way... She is completely opposite to Hamna(I used to imagine her like Hamna irl😄) glad to know her real side so thank you for this interview ...loved the interview and I've watched kesa hai naseban too she was spectacular in that she is indeed a great actor she just had made a wrong choice this time and it's okay it happens to every artist ... My pov is in ishqiya Hamna's character is sketched so weak that no actor can justify that it's not her fault at all and after this I'm really excited for her next project it seems an interesting storyline...
