Hello, I have seen your video for bleeding the fuel filter, but you say there that your friend recommended you to bleed via the fuel rail, what exactly is that, can you show me with a picture how I can correctly bleed my filter, you would help me a lot, thank you in advance.

I'm not sure where exactly that was in the video, but some people will crack loose the lines on the output side of the pump and bleed the air out. If you back out the banjo bolt 2-3, and push the primer lever for 1-2 min then tighten it up you should be good. Had you tried that already?

my tractor started to have low power so i changed the filter, i had rust too in the fuel filter bowl, my tank was rusted so i por15 sealed the tank, that didnt fix it, the fuel lines comming from the tank were plugged with rust particles and the elbow/banjo fitting was plugged also, cleaned everything and it was back to normal power, a guy told me to bleed the line on the fuel rail insted of where you did it, took about 30 pumps of the lift pump to get the bubbles out of the fuel, started right up! i need to get a maint. manual!

if i have to remove the injection pump and looks like i do, what kind of retiming you have to do? my pump is bad on this deutz

I have not had to work on the pump past priming and oiling on my Deutz, so not familiar. Have you bought a replacement pump yet? If so, curious if it came with any instructions? At a minimum definitely would want to make sure you carefully note the way anything is aligned when you remove the old pump. Hopefully I'll have a chance to review the parts diagram this week and see if I can glean anything.

@@Buttons_fix_it yes i ordered a new pump. drive the tractor hard to control the way it runs. like there is some thing in the gov broke. on the back side of the pump. where the 12mm is to check the oil level

was out of oil. so it is soaking as i wait . on a new starter this one was rebuilt. years ago. its dead as of now lol

@@Buttons_fix_it well down to removing the pump. all strip down to take the pump off. front plate off then removed the center bolt and three small bolts in the flange holding the pump to the gear. was relieved to see no timing. have to remove no1 head cover and check for top dead center to start fuel flow after the new pump is on. not going to be a bad job.

i had the same issue after changing the fuel pump. manual pump. bleeder does not pump up to bleed off.that is a 17mm on that line BTW lol did i get a crap replacement manual pump??

@@Mickm0j0green it's possible the pump is bad. Have you seen any evidence of fuel making it to the inlet side of the pump? Wonder if there is a clog out of the tank of filter. Might also need a bunch of priming and maybe come cranking to get the fuel into the pump. Does your replacement pump have a spot to put in oil for the pump? I have another video detailing the oil fill.

@@Buttons_fix_it open the screen on top, its full. as a check if i had a large air pocket in the new pump. the manual pump does not pump up to bleed and screen is full of fuel.

@@Mickm0j0green do you feel any resistance at all when using the manual lever? Also maybe try cracking the high pressure lines loose one at a time and see if you get any fuel there. Then if you do tighten them up and try the bleed screw. Also the bleed screw is backed out 2-3 turns, so pretty far out

@@Buttons_fix_it put the lines all back on the fuel pump. 19mm.have fuel through the filter to the pump. i feel nothing in the manal. nor hear a vaccum form and pressure. as you had in the manual. hear your manual working mine is nothing, just got the pump today
