Rana Squeaks at Treatment

Rana is such a pro when it comes to having treatments done. She understands the process and knows she will get special treats when she gets her feet examined. However, on this particular morning she eyes the camera and decides to take a pause. She will often stop what she’s doing when she knows she’s being filmed and do the exact opposite of what she is being asked to do-even if she was cooperating before. Eventually, she seems to decide that getting some tasty watermelon snacks far outweighs her skepticism of the camera and joins in the foot treatment session.
You might be used to hearing Mara’s signature squeak, but Rana has a special squeak of her own. Normally, you might expect a small trumpet or a low rumble, but Rana appears to respond to Scott’s nickname of “Squeaker” with a brisk and high-pitched reply. They had a successful check-up and afterward Rana got the watermelon she was likely expecting.

Oh my gosh-I haven't heard Rana's squeaks in forever! I will never forget when she first came to sanctuary and I heard those squeaks-it was one of the many reasons that I fell in love with her. This just made my day!

This is such a heartwarming video. Rana squeaks her appreciation or is that impatience? The treatment lasted too long and those treats were too slow getting there. Rana really seems to love Scott though. 😍👏♥️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
