The contrast of Ranboo drowning helplessly & struggling to walk in the water, to Sam quickly moving through the same water & attacking from behind with complete ease. Then TOWERING over Ranboo. Sam's in control and he knows it, that was shown so well here! The fact he's drawn totally in shadow adds to how ominous it feels. And Techno's expression going from friendly to rage-filled, watching his disciple get struck down. He's serious now, engaging in battle with Sam, who wasn't expecting the fierce strikes. This was so good!

I still prefer when the actual audio is used rather than re-voicing everything. "Technoblade and Philza vs the World" was epic, but I was disappointed that it needed voice-acting. Sad-ist is excellent at fitting livestream sound clips to animatics and making it epic, but I greatly prefer Solid Helium's Technoblade design.

The blade was at Ranboo's chest, but Ranboo didn't seem to notice. "You have the wrong hostage, Sam!" Techno begged. He had never begged before. Not like this. "Dream doesn't care!" And just like that, Techno knew he had said the wrong thing. The frustration, the desperation in Sam's eyes calcified in a split second. Techno saw it before it happened. Sam's weight shifted. His fist tightened around the sword. "I CARE!" Techno tried to take it back, to say the one thing that might stop the inevitable. But it was too late. The blade slashed upward. Droplets of red and green hung like gems in the sunlight, frozen in time. Ranboo's hands went limp. He was dead before he hit the water.

You see at the end, Sam doesn't rip the sword out to be badass but keeps the sword in for medical reasons. Taking out the sword would open up the wound again. What a smart cookie

I love the details in this animatic, and Ill list them and their timestamps beside them 1. Ranboo doesn't know how to swim and kind of just flails helplessly in the water (0:12 - 0:22) 2. I love the size comparison between Ranboo and Sam. To me, it helps drive home the fact that he's pretty much a kid (0:53) 3. I don't know if this counts, but Il include it. I love how Sam seems to know he's in control of the situation, while Ranboo struggles through the water, Sam walks through it with ease. Another thing is that Ranboo loses his sword so he can't fight back, but Sam does, actually having a trident and a sword, which prevented Ranboo from just fighting back (1:00-1:06) 4. Techno closed Ranboo's eyes. In one scene Ranboo's eyes are open and in the next scene, their closed (2:55 - 3:06) 5. Sam didn't immediately pull the broken sword out, the reason why you wouldn't want to, is because the object is preventing more bleeding. (3:17-3:22

Whhhhhyyyyy Ranboo is so small, he look’s so much younger, it hit me in the feels. Sam is has an absolutely amazing look, the style and design go really well together. I love the way you make action scenes, especially with the swords ringing. Poor bad :( And then Techno looks massive next to Sam, my God. The way techno’s fighting style reflects that he was a lot angrier, very nice. 10/10 animation.

The way you animate action scenes is so, so good! I love how quickly-paced the fighting is, falling into the slower speed once Ranboo dies as if time itself stops. The little details of Ranboo pushing himself out of the water by propelling his foot, and Sam being stabbed with the broken blade make it much more alive and immersive! It's just so cool!

When Sam slid behind behind Ranboo in the water that was the smoothest transition ever. I also want to point out what an amazing job Solid Helium did at changing the perspective and sound effects. WHERE TO EVEN BEGIN I mean the raw emotion in this is beautiful! The fighting with the swords beautifully made with each move and each swing impotent and planned out. I mean that small scene with Dream perfectly showed his skill as a fighter! And don’t even get me started on the animation. I mean the amount of effort you put into the smallest of things is beautiful. The clothing, the water, the faces, the fighting it’s all so perfect and the effort put into it is so clear. And when Sam pulled out the picture and threw it towards Ranboo, I mean the desperate urge to get the picture and hold it close to his chest shows his love for his son and how much it would hurt to have anything happen to him. And how Ranboo looked guilty when he took the armor off starting back at Techno with the soft line of he has Micheal was such a perfect line in of its self but you captured it so well. And the utter panic when Ranboo was being threatened was so perfect. And the slow version of his death, the slash across his chest as he fell to the water. Which is so poetic to have Ranboo die in the water with no armor surrounded in his own blood. AND THE RAGE SHOWN WITH TECHNO BUT THEN WORRIED ABOUT HIS FRIEND WAS SO PERFECT. Seriously amazing work with this it was genuinely so fun to watch.

Oh my god, your work never disappoints, the cinematography, the smoothness, the fighting style, the emotion. Sam is so menacing when he appear behind Ranboo, you captured the emotion of Ranboo's death perfectly, my heart sank when that scene came up. You can feel the rage emitting from Techno when he's fighting Sam after he killed Ranboo! He. Is. LIVID. Also the ending with Techno and Ranboo my god, you really know how to capture emotions, Techno closing Ranboo's eyes, and clutching the photo of Michael, as he leaves. Beautiful as always!

Ranboo's dead body floating alone in the water hurt me SO BAD. But i absolutely adore your fight scenes (how techno's fighting style at the end their reflects his anger), and the audio (the music, the sound effects aaaa). The design for Ranboo is just...he looks so small, so young, and it's heartbreaking. Just brilliant

Holy crap- I saw this in my recommendations and I’m completely mind blown at this animation- this brings so much emotion and intensity to the moment- I especially love when Sam and Techno duel it out with the trident and sword, it really shows both of their skill. And him lifting a dead ranboo’s head with micheal’s picture was so somber- I love this animation so much from the first watch!

I love how much smaller Ranboo was than both Sam and Techno, imo it really drove home the point that even though Ranboo is married and has a kid, he's kinda still a kid himself (I dunno his canon age but I assume it's around Tubbo's and Tommy's at 17/18). The animation was FREAKING BEAUTIFUL???? Everyone's expressions, their fluid movements, it was all INSANE, this was incredibly well-done!!

The fighting sequence was so awesome! During the scene when c!Techno confronted c!Sam after killing c!Ranboo, I expected a lot of emotion from c!Techno's anger towards him in the lore and it really translated well through your animatic! Great job, love all of the character designs that were featured in here too!

woahh I have no idea how I'm just now seeing this animatic- it's crazy good and I love the artstyle, the audio, the animation is all perfect. The storytelling really gets through with all the sound effects and the different perspectives added in. Great work as always!!
