This is an extremely well-disciplined marching band. Their lines, their feet, and their posture are excellent. Additionally, they play very well. "Nobles of The Mystic Shrine" is a great piece and showcases their presentation. I only wish that they had played the entire march. This version is shortened.

I fine job with a Sousa march that we do hear often enough. My only surprise is not hearing a drum beat upon its completion. All the bands are first rate. It is unfortunate that there are not more spectators. Why? Also, does participation in this "Review" end with this one selection at the reviewing stand or does each band march on and play another selection or two?

This is the main area where the bands perform and get judged. There is another area as the bands turn left past the competition zone where they can play if they choose to (most do). I think there are official Tournament of Roses representatives on that side that watch all the bands and at their discretion, they can select and invite one of them to perform in the Tournament of Roses Parade.
