Yup he was a pretty and fun fish. But a bit of a too much for the ranchus.

Hi mate, how are the plants doing with goldfish inside the tank. Mine got destroyed by my goldfish. Also I am big fan of Ranchu mainly because of their odd look.

The Amazon Swords, anubias and java ferns in the 125 were well established so they are pretty impervious to the ranchus. They both eat the duckweed I transfer over from the babies tanks and they pick off some of the algae that grows on the Amazon leaves.

Hey Andrew. Good to see you still so passionate. I'm really curious how the hybrid ryu and ranchu fry will turn out. I think its good you're looking for a nice red and white to breed into your current stock. It's usually good to breed into a solid red fish every few generations because eventually your reds washout into yellows with goldfish. In my opinion Coast Gem USA has the best quality of red and white ranchu online (USA). But since they're imported from Asia they may be pricey. Great video! Keep us updated!
