It's great to hear Randall's fine playing again, and also great to see Early Music Seattle embracing a style of presentation that reflects the sort of music-making that actually took place a few hundred years ago. Many early music ensembles seem to create their own modern ideas of how old music would have been performed, but end up staring at their music stands instead of playing engaging and compelling music. Well done.

Yep, Randal is playing out of the Baroque tuning here (A-415). I've heard him use this tuning quite a bit, and it's now kind of my default :)

sounds much better faster i clicked 1.5 playback speed pitty the insturments strings are each not perfectly tuned

The instruments are tuned down a half step. Tune to A415 if you want to play along.
