@@jr5925 while I understand your want for a character as great as Flag/Walter to be killed by Roland or his Ka-tet, I don't see anything off putting about it. Further more the final three books were great. I didn't like that Stephen King put himself in the book but after a few reads I was fine with that too. None of it hurt the story. I hated the loss of Eddie and Jake but even their deaths served the story. After all Kinh was the creator not you or I and he will do as he sees fit.

Essentially, yes. He's suppose to be attractive to both genders. Both The Stand mini series AND graphic novel adaption do a horrible job at this, clearly lol. There are moments in the graphic novel where he just looks horrendous, like a melting face.

What I got out of the book and the comic is he's supposed to be simultaneously sexy and repulsive. I leave it up to the ladies to tell me if Jamie achieved that.
