thank you very much for this video and these explanations 🙏🏻 luckily there are people like you to be kind enough to explain how to do it .... unfortunately this is not the case for everyone ... this is a shame because we do not all want to trade in it but just have a hobby that allows us to find pleasure or to get away from our problems... thank you for the time you take to do this and for your kindness 💗

@@shaz8486 when making the lines it’s really all about getting the right amount of ink and alcohol. Mix some together, if the lines don’t appear the way you want them to, add either more ink or alcohol until you get clear lines 👍😊

I am new to this medium and finding it real hard to control the ink. M definitely going to try this technique. One question though, i have a 1000W dryer. Is it too much of a power? Is it why i am finding it hard to get these rings? Also i live in an extremely humid climate. That too has an adverse effect, right? Sorry too many questions! Hope they are answered!
@randihart57313 жыл бұрын
Hi 👋 humidity and ink does not always work well together, sadly. Controlling the ink is really all about learning how you use your hairdryer. Mine is 1000 W too, but you can definitely make it work for you. At the end of this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6W5c2isjcmolbM I try to demonstrate how to use the hairdryer- and how not to use it. About the rings, if they don’t appear you need to add either more alcohol or ink to the mix. It’s different also depending on what color you use. Hope it helps 😃

What brand of hair dryer do you use? I can't find a mini cold hair dryer. Thank you!
@randihart57313 жыл бұрын
Mine is a Remington, very similar to the Revlon that many use. There is a link for in some of my latest videos. It’s my experience that most hairdryers with a cool setting aren’t always that cold. There is usually a bit of heat, including the one I use. I actually prefer a bit of heat
@mick78272 жыл бұрын
Hello Randi. I notice that your ink stayed the same shape (or S shape) after you put on the paper, at least it spread very little. But mine spread into a large area quickly and lost the shape(or S shape) . That’s why I could hardly ever make the same petal shape like yours. I tried at least 30 times diluted ink , originally ink, ink with a few drops of blending solution. Would you mind to tell how to make the ink stay the shape like yours?
@randihart57312 жыл бұрын
It could be that you’re pointing your hairdryer directly at the ink so it’s impossible to control were or how much it moves. (I have a video with hairdryer techniques) Or it could be the paper you’re using- I use Nara paper and the ink tends to stay in the same place.
