Beautiful! This may sound strange and perhaps I shouldn't have a say in this because I'm Chinese and was born in '99, but I always loved and admired the way black people styled their hair in the 1970's. My hair is totally the opposite, extremely flat and heavy and very hard to curl or volumize, and I’ve always wished my hair could be big and perfect like the Afro. Everything it symbolized was beautiful and purposeful, it just looked so free and powerful! It would be awesome to see the afro hairstyle make a return, I surely would love it!

It will come back after 2030,.. Major powers are spending millions in advertising, just to stop Black people from wearing AFROS. It was a plot after the 1970s to (not) let, American Black people embrace their own culture. Being Chinese, I know you understand the importance of culture and how it elevated your people.

@tom11zz884 natural hair among african americans/kinky or curly hair textures generally means hair that is not chemically treated, most commonly through relaxers, to diminish or remove curl pattern altogether. using conditioner, shampoo, or gel doesn't make anyone any less natural because they are external products, not chemical treatments meant to change the actual texture of the hair permanently (or until new growth shows)
