All grading at Ace is anonymous. My cards get graded & treasured the same as EVERYONE else’s. Ace is the real deal, no gimmick.

You would think the graders could work it out from the influx of Japanese cards coming in all at once, regardless of if they saw the vlogs or not... so true anonymity - I'm not too sure about that.

I mean it might be true, and Randolph seems like a genuine guy, but whenever a co-founder tells us how amazing his company is, it is fair to say he isn't the most objective, trustworthy source😅

Great video Randy, unreal to see so many good grades come back for you. Ace slabs looking fire! It would be great to see you do a similar series as this but in the UK, travelling around the different countries in the UK and different independent shops and seeing grading returns based on those cards. I was for Ace till I had to find out through the comments that he co-founded it. The fact that he isn’t transparent with that is an immediate red flag for me. As someone who grew up with a father who went to prison for fraud and scams. This all raises huge alarms for me and gives off the vibes my dad gives. Makes me think all these 9s and 10s in this video are a setup to get people to grade with Ace over PSA and others. Not to mention the slabs look childish and unprofessional. I’ll stick with PSA and Beckett. But I’ll still watch his videos because they’re entertaining.

Ok the difference between ACE and BGS Ace adds 4 subgrades then divide them by 4. Which in this case for shining raichu, its 39/4 = 9.75 so they round it up to 10. Which seems pretty fair for a self collector. But for business, idk. Whereas for BGS, you cannot get a 1x grade higher than your lowest value. So for this case, it will be a 9.5 GEM MINT for BGS at best. Lowest outcome will be a 9. So overall, it is still GEM MINT on both ends of the company. Its just buyer's preference on whether they wanna pay $3000 for an ACE 10 Shining raichu or slightly lesser for a BGS 9.5 (which adds up to 38.5 points) and send it to ACE for a 10. But do take this with a grain of salt, a 38.5 or rather 9.625 doesnt guarantee you a 10 in ACE.

I watched your collectacon video before this one and was iffy on the slabs from the distance view. Up close these things look SWEET and I love that you can scan the back for sub grades to get a better idea why the card received that specific grade. May have to send off a few to test for myself!

you should do a video of getting pairs of the same grade cards from psa or ace (both cards as same grade and same grader) take them our of the slabs and send them to both to psa and ace separately comparing how close the grade would be to the two grading teams.

Just a thought, you can try and send the cards that have a 8 due to the surface getting a 7 to a cleaning service. They break the slab, carefully clean the card, and get it regraded. Most of the time they get a higher grade. Since its mostly the surface, there is a very high chance of it getting 9 or higher when getting regraded.

Those high value 10s are INSANE, props on your scouting skill on those gem mints, I think the color contrast of the raichu card makes people think it's not centered, just like the black line on hidden fates cards, Looking lower where the colors are similar it is pretty well within 60/40 for centering. or maybe centering is based on the red lines on the back which looks spotless?

Forgive me for asking this, it might just be my lack of knowledge on the subject. But after watching a KZbin called Karl Jobst he explained that you perhaps can’t/shouldn’t get items graded from a company you own/have stakes/shares is as it might be seen as a conflict of interest, or is this totally okay because you have nothing to do with the grading side and the business relationship is fully transparent, loving the content I just had this on my mind, if someone could answer I’d be greatful thank you. Also you and Deep Pocket Monsters is why I care about Pokemon, keep that shit up.
