I have been self isolating for years. When I do go out these days I'm kind of amazed at how folks are actually going out of their way to be kinder to one another even despite what I see on social and mainstream media after the world locked down for 2yrs. It's amazing what you find yourself missing after everything we have lost in this time. It actually renews my hope for humanity. The human spirit is a formidable opponent in times of struggle. Far more than I actually imagined. I once thought it was rare but I'm starting to believe it's in us all.

I especially love the moped one. I used to drive motorcycles as my only mode of transportation. One night, I was getting ready to drive to work, and my battery post broke. My neighbor and his friends are Mexican, and when they saw it, they offered to let me drive their motorcycle to work. People really are kind, especially when you need it most! ❤

Decades ago I saw a disabled man flip his wheelchair backwards while trying to enter a store. I was driving. I stopped and helped him up and into the store. About four months ago I tripped on the curb while going into a different store eight hundred miles and forty years away from that other store. When I fell my lip struck the concrete, my nose came close to breaking, my arm was abraded and bleeding but the worst was that my knee was bruised and subluxed. Almost instantly I was surrounded by six wonderful people helping me. I'm okay now but an old proverb comes back to me: Cast bread onto the waters and it returns to you ten fold. They say Karma's a b***h but sometimes she can be your best friend.

After my wife got diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer my "family" (parents and siblings one of them a medical doctor) advised me to get rid of her and divorce her. She was an incredible fighter and survived almost 5 years. During that time she got several visits from her sister from overseas whereas my blood relatives (they dont deserve to be called family) never visited her, never even called her or congratulated her to her birthday. Needless to say that I broke off all contact with these heartless creatures a long time ago. Nevertheless I pray for them that GOD might open their hearts and forgive them their sins.

To those people helping with plantains or bananas. It shows it literally takes 1 person to give a shit. Cars were stopped, but until the black car stopped and got out none of the others did. They probably just thought, "hurry up, just move out of the way so I can go," then saw 1 person help and didn't want to seem like a terrible person themselves.

A friend of mine Hazel has just come back from taking a horsebox lorry worth of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. She doesn't run a charity but found one online in the Ukraine that needed donations. She asked her friends to donate what they could and 2 weeks ago she and her mother took off. The photographs she posted on Facebook and what the Ukrainian people told her was heartbreaking. I don't know where to share,My dog had a bad stomach ache since yesterday,she vomit and had motion with blood..We treat her the best we can and had not enough money for her treatment in the hospital..My heart is in pain and I don't know I can live with this.this morning she went to my sister room and watch her sleep for more than an hour.When my sister see her watching she hold her and put her on the sofa...little bit later she came down from the sofa towards my sister and just fell on the floor seizing and she couldn't wake up any more..my brother and sister are crying knowing that she will not make it.We just have to watch her passing.I felt very guilty of being poor.

I was taught to treat everyone you meet like it's their birthday. But then when no one even sees you on the street or even sees your pain or even acknowledges your birthday because you have no family and no friends. Knowing that you can't take your own life because you don't have the strength but you know it's wrong to force someone else to take your life by suicide by cop, so you left with a life of pain and anguish physical and mental. And the only thing you can ask yourself is why does God take people that want to live and not your life someone that want to die
