In 1999 I lost my wallet on a roller coaster at six flags in Texas. I didn't even realize I'd lost it until after I'd gotten home. By then I figured it was a lost cause but a week later I received it in the mail with all the cash still inside it. No return address, no note. Thank you anonymous citizen.

That is something that happened to my dad, but my dad was the person who found the wallet and returned it. He found a wallet on the side of the road with a lot of money in it, found that the wallet had ID documents and since the owner was from our city my mom and him went to his house to give it back. The owner explained that the money was his first paycheck, which arrived that morning in the bank account and he was returning from the bank when he lost it (he was riding a bycicle and had the wallet in his jacket pockets, i believe). He offered my mom and dad some of the money as compensation, but dad refused. I'm proud to have such a kind man as a father :)

Horses are wonderful animals who truly care about others (my aunt, uncle, & cousins have had horses, and the younger of those two cousins actually makes a living with their help as a professional cattle roper [think of a rodeo and that's the sort of thing he's involved with], and he's one of the best in the entire country....so we have had occasion to meet those horses ourselves on those occasions that we happened to be visiting them). I know of one case where a woman had been examining a mother cow's baby, and the cow didn't like that so the cow attacked her, and the woman's horse saw it happening from his pen and he broke out and put himself between the cow and the woman until she was able to get to safety on the other side of the fence. They will also try and protect their riders from injury in the event that a horse is about to fall for whatever reason. And it's not just horses, either. All animals are capable of empathy and compassion. Crows & Ravens for instance are capable of recognizing different humans and identifying "Friendly" humans and "Unfriendly humans". Those they perceive as friendly they will pretty much "adopt" into their family, and as a result they will often leave behind random objects as "gifts", and they will also attempt to protect such humans from anything they perceive as a "threat". They will even teach their chicks about such people as well, so if you ever befriend a family of crows or ravens, you will likely be considered a part of their family for generation after generation. And those they deem as "unfriendly" or "hostile" they will actively harass and otherwise mess with. I also know of at least two instances where a child fell into a gorilla enclosure, and yet one of the gorillas simply picked up the injured child and protected them until help arrived. And there's also one instance of a bear rescuing a crow from drowning, where the bear simply picked the crow up by the tip of it's wing with it's mouth and then gently laid it down on the ground unharmed before walking away to relax elsewhere. Just because they happen to be wild animals, don't fall into the trap of thinking that they are "dumb" or that they can't feel emotions or empathy. If an animal was "dumb", they wouldn't be able to survive for very long in the wild. Hell, just look at how intelligent Dolphins and Orcas are, not to mention how friendly and protective they are towards humans! After all, there isn't a single recorded instance of a *wild* Dolphin or Orca causing the death of a human, more often that not they instead try to *protect* humans from potential threats like sharks.

IKR! My mother raised three boys without any help from anyone except occasionally my grandparents. She had a really hard life before we came along because she grew up poor in rural Appalachia. It didn’t get any easier for her when she retired from over 30 years of working in a factory either as she developed Alzheimer’s disease shortly after retirement. I’m so grateful that I was able to be her care provider during the last 10 years of her life. Though she didn’t know who anyone was, herself included, she and I had a lot of laughter between the tears. She taught me the most valuable lessons but the most important one was to always find the happiness or bright side of life. Stay strong!

Awww R.I.P. Milo I think only other pet owners can appreciate when someone else loses a pet. In September 2020, my dog Rocky had to get out to sleep because he couldn't walk at all anymore. And before we left we brought my cat Baby up to his face to say goodbye. She definitely mourned his loss too because she completely stopped eating for almost 2 weeks and started sleeping alone in weird spots of the house. 2 weeks after we put Rocky to sleep, we had to put my fluffy cat Baby to sleep due to malnutrition. I never cried so much in all my life when they were putting her to sleep I just kept saying, "you're a good girl Baby, you're a good girl." (I just cried while typing that) I hope you found peace and with any luck, a pet will find you like my new kitten found me. I found an all black 6 week old kitten sleeping by the drive thru speaker of the Dunkin Donuts. I picked her up and brought her home right away.

2:17 reminded me of someone who used to have a disability at a daycare center I went to. He never hang out with anyone and was usually alone lying on the ground and made me sad to see him that way. I used to hang out with him every once in awhile to cheer him up because he was sad and alone. He was honestly really fun to hang out with and I don’t regret spending time with him, and I hope he is doing well. All I know is that he went through something which made him have to be rushed home and I’m hoping he’s okay. I hope he lives a long happy life even if he has a disability.

I didn’t realize how much I needed this video….I am finding everyday a struggle with neuro diversity & various mental illnesses it is so tiring just existing that I become hopeless, only see the negative and want to give up. But just watching this video reminds me that there are people and animals who are generous, compassionate, selfless and kind. I can’t even pick a stand out clip because I just found them all so beautiful; to see all of those genuine, surprised, grateful and loving reactions from fellow humans and animals is so moving and heartwarming, I feel hopeful again.

It’s so nice to know there is still compassion in the world . I’ve resided in an assisted living facility for five years now after giving my home up due to multiple heath issues,I’m also a retired nurse,I’ve had the remarkable opportunity to help many of my fellow residents in these years ,about a month and a half ago a new resident told me off,she said i was nosy and too opinionated and that I had no friends here,it broke my heart ,I’m over it now but I have confided in the staff members who know and respect me here ,and they’ve told me this woman is just an unpleasant person, this theses videos reminded me that there are good people in our world and I hope I’m one of them despite what caustic may say.

@@kathleentyson6727 I used to work at a dementia living care facility! I was part of activities so I didn't do any real work, bless the nurses. From my experience I may be able to offer some insight! If she recently arrived she might be getting used to the new place, as for her calling you nosy; she might be less willing to share information because you're new to her, which isn't a bad thing :) Her saying you have no friends was just plain mean, I'm sure you have plenty of friends and I'm certain you're loved by many.
