That's the same song I sing for my cat now and then. I started when he was 7 and Gilly is now 15 .He starts to show the symptoms of getting older. He sometimes forgets the way home and it seems like he can't hear or see as good as before. Seeing that girl sing for the dying cat made me cry. As I wrote this with tears in my eyes my cat came to me and cuddled me until I stopped crying. 😢❤

I held my little dog like that, when he had to go. I talked to him, whispering in his ear, and told him he was a Good Boy, that I loved him, always, and I'd be okay, if he had to go. I held it together, I don't know how, except I didn't want him to worry and get upset, if he knew I was crying. And then he was gone, and I broke. We'd been together 12 years. That's been a few years ago now. I miss him. I'm smiling thru tears remembering my friend right now. It's bittersweet. He was such a great pal! I'm so grateful I had him for as long as I did. Oh, my heart, just aches for that little girl and her sweet kitty watching this. Her cat, felt the love, as it left this world.

I did something simaler to my four week old kitten.I found him in the middle of the road I put him back to the forest and he went back to the road. I then adoupted him.Before I took him home I put him in a box to sleep in.three days passed I went to check on him and his eye burst open.we rushed him to the vet.While we were driving I was holding him and petting him.when we got to the vet he said he needs to have surgery.But he was only a four week old kitten without a mom or dad cat he also had eye issues. He was very young when abandoned.Anyways we could do surgery on his eye but the vet did not think he would make it.So instead of doing surgery and see if he survives or not.Percy would die very painfully because teh vet did not think he would live.So they put him down.😭😭😭😭😭😭 R.I.P Percy

6:53 She was singing, so calm, and after the cat barely made a noise. It reminded me of putting down my cat. She never allowed any of us to hold her, but for that, I think she knew and let me hold her before she passed. This one had me crying. Understand that your animals can understand your emotions, and will act on your actions. This part of the video really warmed my heart.

The little girl singing for a dying cat really was heart touching. I myself, did a similar thing when I was small. I found a neighbour cat in our garden with his ear been fully eaten by another cat during fight . It was too late for him to be taken to a vet. And all I did was to play some Lord Buddha preaches ( as I'm a Buddhist ) and pray for him . It is unfortunate when all you can do is nothing but give its life to the hands of the god and at such a situation, all you can do is pray or sing. Bless that little girl and the cat.❤🙏

I was also in a similar situation as the girl. I live in a household where my grandmother shows and breeds cats as a hobby. One time, we had a mama cat that was sick when she gave birth and was unable to give her newborns the indescribably important milk they needed in the first 24 hours of their life. At the time, we had another mama cat that was happy to play the short role of mother for the newborns but since she had another given birth to her babies about a week of two beforehand, the newborns were still unable to get what they needed to survive. About a week later, we were down to one kitten from that litter left. I think it was a school day for me and I had woken up early for some reason. When I walked out of my room, I found my grandmother gently stroking the last kitten. She told me that she know it wasn't going to last much longer. After a while, she gave the little thing to me. For the last remaining minutes for it's life, I gently stroked its little head and I'm not sure if I hummed to it of not but I was the one to tell my grandmother that that kitten had stopped breathing. I had been exposed to pets and animals dying before that happened so I didn't cry, but I felt so bad that it or any of it's siblings never got to live the life they could have.

The girl singing to her dying cat has me crying. The cat looks like my old cat pendragon. Pendragon was an inside and and outside cat. He used the bathroom outside everyday. He was so friendly and nice. We had him for 3 years. He went missing one day randomly a year ago. I miss him so much. He would also sleep with me every night. the little girl singing to her cat was such a remind memory of mine.When i was like 7 years my dad has put an incubator with chicken eggs.In time,the eggs broke and new chickens have been born but on the last days there were 2 eggs left and dad was sure that they are dead.Even so I stayed in the front of the incubator thinking that one of them will actually break.And yes,it happened,but unexpectedly,the chicken had a small tuft on his little head and somehow,he started to follow me everywhere,he was crying if i wouldve leave just for a second.I called him Johny,every day i was with him after coming home from the kindergarten.Dad advertised me that he is sick and has breath problems,but i was even more motivated to raise him.Such a smart chicken.He was learning so fast.The time has passed and Johny has grown up,so I had to move him outside,in the yard with the other chickens.But i continued to meet him and have a great time together.Until a rainy day,i saw Johny a little bit sad.So i took him and started swaying him,singing.Next morning I had a feeling that i must go see him but mom didnt let me,she said that ill meet him after going shopping.When i came home,I ran to his place but found him dead.I started crying and i felt so guilty just thinking why BUT why didnt i go to him that morning.Ill never forget Johny,you were one of the best things that happened in my entire life.Ill always pray for you,reast in peace little tuft,such an unique chicken,absolutely love you❤️

The little girl singing broke me in a second. My grandfather had alzheimers and passed when I was 13 in 2000 and he had no clue who I was. That song was the last thing I ever heard him say as he sang it with my grandmother who passed away last year

This happened with me and my bunny, he had a bad seizure and we knew we couldn’t get to the vet. I didn’t want to hold him cause I didn’t wanna see him in pain. I look to the side, and I see a disabled man sitting in a wheelchair all dressed up in renaissance clothing and I will never forget his smile watching the people perform. I don't like that the parents filmed the cat dying and the little girl singing- the little girl looked uncomfortable and the situation was not natural and seems staged and like she was instructed to do it. That was for some serious face book clout right there. I've had to bury 3 cats that I loved dearly. it's a very hard thing to do to see them pass away and deal with, it is not something anyone normal person would do to film them in their last moments and then upload it to the internet

I know this is what everyone’s talking about, but the girl with her cat dying in her arms was so heartaching. I myself have 3 cats and if any of them died in my arms I couldn’t handle it. I tried to sing along with her but my voice literally wont stop shaking. I cried because I lost an old cat of mine who I had for 11 years. from the day I was born. I lost him 2 years ago and its still terrifying to this day to think about. my old cat’s name waa riley and he was a white and black turkish van, very very fat. he lived for 15 years I think. I had him and another young cat at the time, who’s name was willow. she’s a tabby. willow would always pester riley and neither of them got along (because of the wide age difference and gender difference) but we managed to keep them in the same household for a while. I moved to a different state and I couldn’t bring riley because he was too old, and he had been on a roadtrip before and couldn’t handle it. he always peed on shoes and the floor because the roadtrip messed him up, and he was claiming territory because of willow. my family gave our two cats to a good friend who had a bunch of other pets. willow is still alive but riley died with them 2 years ago. my 3 cats now are all brothers, 3 years old. they’re turkish vans as well. I’ve had them since they were 2 months old. we got them because as soon as we saw them, it reminded us of riley (who was still alive and across the country with our friends at the time). their names are sweet tea, tennessee, and cowboy. they’re very healthy and happy right now. tennessee is getting fat like riley. sweet tea’s had a few problems that could’ve killed him but I wont get into that since this comment is already too long. please take care of your pets while you can.

I'm just imagining how it would break my heart when my 22 cats die, it would break my heart. 💔 Edit: yes I have 22 cats, first it started off with one cat, called Fluffy. Its a girl, black and white. And then we adopted another cat called FiFi, also known as Cookie. They were both females. But we took Fifi to our takeaway to move the mouses and kept fluffy in our house because, well, fluffy doesn't like to go out and about. So then Fifi went away in another house for a little bit (don't ask why) and when we got her back, she was PREGOOOOOO! Their was a male cat there who we never heard of. Then she got prego with 18 kittens, sadly 2 died, and then its been a while now, and their really big! And we got another cat called "Milo" it was only 1 month old. It was a male, and actually, our FIRST male cat as those 16 kittens were all girls! Impossible, right? No, Milo wasn't Fifi's babies. We just got him. He's now 6 months old, and yeah! And then we got 3 more cats! Thing is, we gave our cats away a while ago, except the one called "Milo" , as we got him at the end. I miss fluffy, she was my first ever cat, and was the calmest, not craziest, then I love the other cats. Just remembering this makes me wanna cry. Why? *...because my dad used to hate cats... Now he got sorta used to it....* But I wish I still have my cats, the kittens are now 2 years old, and fluffy is 6 years old following Fifi is 4 years old. And lastly, Milo, he's 6 months. 💔💓💕

The little girl who was singing to her dieing cat got me good cause I had a 3 months old kitten we bought her after a month but then her old owner got him sick and he would alyways shout at night saying tht he don't want to be alone..but then on November 8 2021 he passed away..when I heard my mom telling he passed away on the night time my heart beat stopped for a couple of seconds..but then he is in a good place where the god takes care of him..( I am crying when I am telling this ) so please love your pets until some day they might be gone
