That first map gave away so much ammo and all the big weapons. I expected the Bruiser Brothers mutated to Cybies in a room making the fight hard by easy to eat splash damage, but it was just a Knight. Better than a regular Zombieman, but not by much.

During the second WAD I could've sworn I remember playing that map in Freedoom or something EDIT: I knew it! Freedoom: Phase 2 map 08. They are EXTREMELY similar

⚠️ Plagiarism alert! ⚠️ The second map is a very slightly edited version of MAP08 of Freedoom Phase 2. Download it and see it for yourself. freedoom.github.io/ It is indeed a good and very well made map full of the more classical doom action, as many maps in Freedoom. I played it more than once. The "mapper" added a room (with the outer area, Barons, SS, and zombies) changed the starting area a little, changed a little here, changed a little there, but the overall gameplay and the whole layout is so similar (even to the textures used on the walls and the floors in most places), I call it a plagiarism and a adornment of himself with borrowed plumes. (I don't know whether this literal translation of a German saying works in English or sounds like poems of Karl Schwitters to a German. I'm not a native speaker. I write English, because my English is a little better than most people's German… if my words are inadequate, I hope you will excuse me.) Should he be the creator of the original that was given to Freedoom at some point in the past, I am sorry for this insinuation. But I think that's something he would have said when he asked for a Let's Play here. There are some people knowing Freedoom out there.

The first Doom movie isn't great but is entertaining, like a fusion beetween Alien and Resident Evil, and there is a epic scene in first person, a nice reference to the game. Doom Anihilation is pure garbage.

Yeah I love the 2005 one. What merits does it have? The special effects, atmosphere and that one first person scene. That's pretty much it, but damn they did it well. They may be aliens and not demons, but at least they looked like a real, dangerous monster, and the most powerful version of the bfg; the one that can actually destroy walls so you don't have to look for that fucking keycard. Doom annihilation has ugly blue zombies, rubber suit imps, and a bfg that can't even gib an imp. It's like comparing an amateur cake to a big ol bowl of festering eggs. Neither are that great, but you'd probably enjoy the former, and not regret it.

Comparing Freedoom: Phase 2's MAP08 with Gamer 520's map, it does seem like it's a ripoff of that map. They should try to make maps that are more original.

@@Aquarius199 So that's 2 OBLIGE maps, and 2 or 3 uncredited ripped off maps submitted by Gamer 320/520 so far? Also he seems to have a few wad review videos inspired by yours, which is fine, however they ripoff your seal system with no credit to you or the artist who designed them. Honestly I feel at least temporarily blacklisting him might be in order.
