Wonderful explanation. Almost 15 years ago, I still remember that 40 Days fasting imposed to me or i die soon. I didnt take it, program came again saying i have a debt to God, they added 21 days since i didnt pay my 40 days debt. I didnt take it again. I just read the Bible and prayed and spent some time with God. And halleluyah im still alive. By God's grace I over lived the said day.😂 Thank you Pastor once again for this wonderful teaching. May God give you more wisdom to teach us all.

Let's understand when to pray and Fast, I am not saying about how, why, what to fast or pray, God is not forceful for he gave us the free will hello nagas, prayer centre, secondly when you are convicted to pray or fast because fasting and prayer is not choice, it is a decision, thirdly when our conscious speaks to us if our conscious is unregenerated nothing good comes or nothing good decision can be made, to honour, glorify, praise, worship prayer, etc comes through our regenerated conscious or decision, so no arguments on God given Free will, (I mean to say a new heart with a new flesh)

Thank you so much for clearly explaining about Fasting . This is the only reason I stopped meeting bardhana kura manu because when we request them to pray for us they randomly ask us to fast anytime any moment. Some prayer center never ending fasting , after finished our course also they increased the days of fasting again and again as if we don’t any other works to do. For me the best prayer centre in Nagaland is Chate. Rest are mostly business involved not all though…..my personal experience

Many years back one of my friend was diagnosed with TB and other sickness.He was so weak that he couldn't talk, eat and even stand up.He was asked to do dry fasting for certain days and later died of weakness. This same issue happened to one of my friend's dad.

Sister, how i wish if most of the prayer homes and prayer warriors could lead and guide people like you do. Lately though but as i am watching your videos' In a way, Its really helping me a lot to understand things and clearing my doubts which I've bottled up for past some years. Like you've mentioned, i was also one among those where i would be asked to take 7days/10days/3days dry fast and so on. There was a time where i was even told that, i just had a week or two to live. I mean, in the process.. it only creates fear psychosis & Trauma in a person's mind. There was a time when i was so much frustrated, traumatized, since then i made a commitment to myself that i would only trust God and his words and nobody elses🙏 Correct me if i am wrong but deep inside i always had the feeling that most of the prayer center and prayer warriors in our society are misleading and not giving the proper guidance to people.🙏

Nothing to do with fasting but Ezekiel was told by God to Lie down first on his left side for 390 days as punishment for the sins of the children of Israel and after completing that another 40 days on the right side for the sins of Judah. That's the Prophet of the Old testament who bears the sins of people.....can see a picture of Jesus in this story.

Could be hundred of reasons. One thing is we are looking for shortcuts to answer. we don't want to spend time praying, looking into His word, and waiting on him patiently. Prayer centre jai kena fasting loi le sob bhaal hoi jabo bhabona kure. Doesn't work that way!! And if believers get what they are longing for in the church, which is LIFE, they will not go looking for it elsewhere!! The Church is an Organism not an organization!!! But sadly many Churches has become the latter.

Hindus fast for 9 days during Navratri, but i don' t know of any instance in the bible where 9 days fasting and prayer was done. so sorry. if you have been asked to fast for 9 days you could ask them why and the scripture reference.
