I miss this tradition of eating at other people's houses during fiestas!!! Me and my friends would do "rounds" at each others houses first then ask our other barkadas which houses had good food lol PRO TIPs for CONVERSATION: 1) Ask them what theyre doing during fiesta, 2) Ask them how they made the food (this especially is a great topic convo) 3) of course, invite them back to your house if you also have handa or tell them were they can also find good food

Fiestas are not celebrated in Luzon, in general. In Pangasinan only one town celebrate it.however,in Visayas and Mindanao,its still festive. Its a celebration of the patron saint’s natal day in barrios,towns,cities and thanksgiving for graces received by triune God!

"Fiestas are not celebrated in Luzon." - Yung level ng pag assume mo ay parang natirahan mo na lahat ng lugar sa Luzon. 😂 Kahit nga sa NCR may mga baranggay na nag cecelebrate din ng fiesta ng lokal na santo nila. Given na mas traditional sa province compared sa NCR. Pero again, madaming provinces sa Luzon na nag ffiesta parin. 😅

I did experience eating at random houses then...the house owner would feel bad if you did not accept their invitation to drop by, meaning, to taste the food prepared for such a practice...glad you and your friends had fun!
