Random girl sings glass-shattering high note in public

I met Deanna Casey while asking random people to sing right outside of CitiField during the 2021 Governer's Ball music festival in New York City! At first she was very nervous, but then she said she was glad she did it! This happens to most people who I encounter, even some of the professionals!
As a musician, I'm all about creating musical experiences that have people feeling happy and free, and that's why the "Sing With Me" series exists. Since 2018, I have asked thousands of random people to sing with me on camera. A lot of people have said no, some have said no initially but changed their minds to yes, and some have said yes right away. I ask these people to sing with one purpose: to create a way for them to experience a sense of happiness and freedom they did not feel before. And much of the time, this actually works (and that makes ME happy).

Heykelly; once you sing something professionally enough, you never forget it. Maybe not the words, but the key, the style and the voice inflections come back to you just like riding a bicycle. I started singing again in a band after not singing for 37 years. The recall is amazing.

Exactly true. The ratio of great singers in the world to great singers the world has heard is probably more than 100 thousand to 1. This is why I love to search for undiscovered talent. It's a never ending joy, and this channel is the best for that.

Deanna proved Reggie’s concept... She said she was nervous and you should always be in the right mindset... being in the right mindset 100% of the time is unrealistic for anyone, but singing brought her joy and got her back into the right mindset!!! I have a very small shop in which 2 or 3 customers fill the place and often when they are waiting their turn for help, they will hum or sing along quietly with the music that's playing. It is wonderful because the freedom they give themselves to tune to the musical vibration and the lack of anything required from them or absence of anything to be received by their response/ their action moves me to delight, joy, appreciation, anticipation, openness to possibility. The Lady who had introduced me to scat was our living legend, Ella Fitzgerald. I never had the honor of ever meeting her, or to see her sing live, but I sure did collect her music with my one of my all time favorite songs being, Lady Is A Tramp. I think she had at one time recorded this with Satchmo, but I’m not a 100% sure. I liked Satchmo so much, I named my fighting fish after him, and of course, I named my first hunting dog, Ella.
