Keane didnt get a fair shot at liverpool over politics plain and simple. Benitez did'nt buy him but the board, which Benitez clearly did'nt like so he was adamant to try make Keane a failure to prove a point. Personally I agree the manager should be the only one to sign players. However in this instance, a very good signing was shafted over politics.

Bollocks. Rafa did want Keane but once Keane was at the club, Rafa realised he'd become too fond of the pub. He went back to Spurs and was a damp squib compared to what he'd been like when he was there before joining Liverpool. After a year and a half he was loaned out to Celtic and then headed off to the MLS for an easy life.

If that ie Messi scoring that it wins the Puskas and is talked about as one of the greatest goals ever. Incredible underrated goal. The technique is world class
