Did you know you can unsrcrew the nib unit on the TWSBI Diamond? If you do so you can exchange the textured grip with a normal one. Either you can use the other one that you have on the other pen if you like the yellow colorway better or you can buy another nib unit. they come with a plastic grip. Also in regards to the Kaweco Sport. If you want a smidge more ink capacity you can buy a small cartridge and refill it with a blunt surringe. that should give you a bit more ink than will fit the converter.

Thank you so much for your suggestions!! And sorry for the late reply. I considered changing the nib unit on the TWSBI but in the end I decided to just sell it to someone who liked it as it was, and get an Eco I liked better for myself 🤭 As for using a (empty) cartridge for the Kaweco: that’s a great idea that I will definitely keep in mind! Thank you again and thanks for watching ☺️🙌

Lovely sensible collection. Thank you for reviewing each one with honesty and personal knowledge. I have a small collection of fountain pens myself that include some of your choices. I have been very I retested to try the Y Studio brass pen in the case since you have praised it in few of your videos. My go to fountain pen is a waterman that I have had for 30 years. The nib is Medium and I always wished for a Fine nib instead. I do have a Montblanc (Mozart) same scenario. Came in with a Medium Nib, it was a gift, and would prefer a fine nib. My dream pen is a Pelikan M800 in green or cream. Thank you again for your very enjoyable video presentations. 😊

Thank you so much and I'm so glad you enjoyed ☺️🙌 And thank you for sharing about your own collection - I love hearing it 🤓 For longer writing sessions I'm leaning more towards other pens than my Y Studio portable pen lately - maybe pens that make a bit more sense regarding weight, grip, etc. But it was my go-to journaling pen for quite a while and I still love it 😊

@@ayearandaday I think what attracts me about that Y Studio pen is the design, wood and brass. Such a unique design. Maybe not practical because bigger bulky but very attractif visually. A beautiful piece in a collection. I want one!!! ☝️ 😊

I really enjoyed this! I had no idea about TWSBI vacs getting hairline fractures. I just recently bought the vac 700R. I enjoy it a lot, so fingers crossed it doesn't break. The Botanical Garden pen is a beauty 😍

So glad you enjoyed, Juli!! 🥰 I think those cracking issues were more common with some of the older TWSBI pens, so your new Vac 700R probably will be ok ☺️ (Also the Vac Mini was the only TWSBI that has ever given me issues: the other ones have been super reliable! 🙌)

I would recommend Lamy 2000 for you and if you want something more beautiful Pelikan M200. Very enjoyable videos. There are worst things you could spend your money on and if you use them everyday and clearly love them, do not feel guilty, life is short.

I loved watching all of your thoughts on your fountainpens - some of them i own myself. I write very small, so i prefer a extra fine nib. My go to fountainpen is the Pelikan M200 and i love my kaweco brass as well (but had a lot issues with the ef nib even after putting a new one on, so i switched to the fine nib here). The ef nib on my twsbi Diamond is unfortunately not fine enough, i thought because of a japan brand the nibs are even finer but they are produced in Europe i guess and they are veeeey similar to the Lamy ef nib. I would loooove to have a Pelikan M500 from the 50's🥰...thanks for sharing and please keep on sharing your collection ♥️

Thank you so much for watching and for sharing your thoughts ☺️🙌 I am curious about Pelikan and will keep the M200 in mind! (That special edition Copper Rose Gold one looks pretty classy or is that's just me? 👀😆) Also, I never thought I would say this but I might want to try an EF-nib in the near future...! 😅 Just need to figure out which brand/model would fit my needs best 🤔 And so the research continues... 🤭

🙈i did it....i found an old vintage Pelikan 140 from the 50's online and bought it... it's not here yet, i hope it will write and everything is ok. It's not the model i was looking for, but its hard to find the exact model with a extra fine nib. Why i choose the older pelikan is also because they produced their nibs back then as flexible, so i can write with line variations🥰
