Ca fait plaisir de voir que toi, un des meilleurs (le meilleur ?) freeskier au monde peut aussi, parfois, quand l'envie te prends, te torcher comme une merde dans des sapins. I got to be good enough skier to get a taste of this level of ski experience and thus gaining a respect of the dangers as well. This is called glade skiing. (through the trees) Compared to a "Go-Pro" video on a motorcycle or something motorized, this may seem slow in comparison... The speed when glade skiing is misleading, I f you where to hit a tree at this velocity; it is BONE CRUSHING! Trust me! I hit a tree at half this speed and could not believe the wake up call in physics I received. This kind of skiing looks exciting, but is very, very dangerous, not to mention by the time you get out of the glade (if you even do) your legs are on fire/totally weak and you are soaked in sweat. Within the first 10 seconds of skiing a pitched glade, you get a full sense of the true velocity, physics, and terror involved. I am referring to any BEGINNER watching this clip; Many novice skiers die every year at your local ski resort underestimating pitched glades.
