Just fyi-you do not need a can opener, if you have a bit of cement, or even a cinder block. vigorously rubbing the top or bottom of the can on said surface until the lid is free from the can. You may need something to slide under the can as you turn it right side up, a paper plate for example.

ThinkGeek says it has a 10 year shelf life. And I'm glad to see it is crunchy; I thought it'd be totally soft. Anyway, I think this'd be great on a campout when you want bacon but don't want to cook it - or if you like bacon but don't like to cook it.

Food service bacon is per cooked to the point that it is edible, at least the pre-cooked kinds. They have been making them for about 20 years, mostly restuarants have been getting it. But within the last 10 yrs, you can buy it yourselves at stores, or wholesale literally by the truck load, shelf stable in some cases, the canned bacon is the same product, a bit more costly as it is canned for a 2 to whenever lifespan. Before the US drought, it was cheap now pay a price, Yodders is another brand

Hey Peter really nice to see your comment popping up in an older videos. Apologies if you already got this question from me but I just wanted to ask you if I could if you’re still able to see the newer videos here on the channel, do they still show up on your subscription Feed? There’s an ongoing glitch with KZbin’s Notifications causing a lot of older viewers to either not be notified when a new video goes up on here OR even worst they think I haven’t been posting anything for years.
