Our Vava stopped spinning. Followed your video and opened it up. The motor shaft was all gummed up. Cleaned it with alcohol and a q-tip, applied one drop of 3-1 oil, and buttoned it back up. Hit the switch and bingo! A functioning frother! Thanks!

Same built as the Bialetti Milk Frother. Also works without lid; in fact I never use the lid. Nice video and very pleasant commentary that gave me almost all info I needed to fix mine. Only the type of thermal fuse would have been useful to reveal, so I could have ordered it before taking mine apart.

Thanks for this. My unit is similar and I’m trying to troubleshoot it, and your video gave me the confidence to open the bottom. It was sort of working but the button logic seemed screwed up. Yep, a little water got in and it’s wet around the actual switch-drying it out now and crossing my fingers.

This exact product is sold under different names: Miroco, Inventum, Secura, Silvercrest, well as the NutriChef. Thank you for the review.

I have what looks like this same unit made by Chuzy Chef from Amazon- it stopped heating milk after 7 months of 2x day use. It still froths but the milk stays cold and the unit does not turn off. Both lights stay on until you physically turn the unit off. I am guessing that it is unrepairable (warranty is 30 days), which is a shame as it is in great shape otherwise. By the way, I am always careful to not get it wet when cleaning- just wipe out inside and outside with a cloth- never under running water.

Thanks for the video. Im trying to fix mine as it couldnt work when the power lights is on. However, when I opened it, the motor and the board is seprated. Quite different from yours so kinda stucked and theres a black plastic that is holding down the motor and a spring. Pretty strange for me. Lol.

Hi!! is there anyway I can increase the temperature of the milk a bit?
@joseandresremolinagarcia43182 жыл бұрын
Hey Mark, you think its possible to increase the temperature of the heating element in order to obtain a hotter milk?

I bought a rebranded unit by Silvercrest. I found your video after looking for instructions to tear it down. Why? You guessed it on your video. The sealing part is unreliable. The motor runs for a while and then it gets stuck.

Following your video, disassembling a unit of identical design, I found the motor was corroded, rusty from leakage. I guess that I could find another motor and replace it, but because of the poor design it will most likely leak and self destruct.

I have the exact same unit and it just failed, total junk
