Guys just a quick and huge important note here. First: Why is no one speaking or commenting about the extreme misunderstanding of some basic Islamic teachings about how to perform prayers during or while travelling? Brother Sneako seems misinformed. Shortening the prayers is a confirmed Sunnah for all travellers, whereas joining the prayers is permissible but is not Sunnah, but it may be Sunnah and recommended if there is some difficulty involved in not doing it. But there is no place whatsoever in Hadith or Sunnah that it says you only pray 3 times instead of 5 prayers when travelling. You only shorten the long prayers Like Duhr, Asr or Eishaa, it's preferred to pray them into 2 units instead of 4. It's pretty unfortunate to see a Muslim giving the wrong ruling and responding by "yeah, I guess so". Atleast brother sneako was humble enough to wait for ressasurance from the Muslim man but sadly they were misinformed. I pray that they fix their stance soon as possible. May Allah guide us all

It is sunnah to join prayers while traveling: Al-Bukhari (1108) narrated that Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) joined Maghrib and `Isha’ prayers when travelling. Ahmad (3178) narrated from Ibn `Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) joined two prayers whilst travelling. Shaykh Ahmad Shakir (3288) said: Its Isnad (chain of narration) is authentic. Muslim (706) narrated that Mu’adh (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We went out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on the campaign of Tabuk, and he used to pray Dhuhr and `Asr together, and Maghrib and `Isha’ together

I am not sure if he said you can pray 3 times only but if it was as you said then it is for sure wrong … according to my knowledge it is from sunnah to join and to shorten prayers however the difference in opinions is how many days you can do that while traveling and there is no 100% correct answer it is different opinions that depends on evidences from Hadiths

The Shahadah shouldn't be taken as a joke. Sneako should've explained what it means and what he's saying in english also. So I don't think Adin is officially muslim until he says the Shahadah with full conviction and understanding. Maybe soon he will reach that stage inShaAllah. NOTE: I know sneako is sincere and has done dawah and is on the right path. Just pointing out the importance of not joking about the shahadah.
